Nevada City Ballet Academy is an approved vendor for all local homeschool and charter school programs! Ballet is the foundation for nearly every style of dance. Having a background in ballet prepares students for success in many dance genres and other sports. It emphasizes strength and coordination, proper body alignment which prevents injuries, as well as the importance of musicality, timing and grace.
Enrolling in a Ballet Class allows students to work together in the class setting, promotes the quality of respect for others and instills in the student confidence and a sense of accomplishment. Krista Pagan has been teaching Ballet since 1999. She opened Nevada City Ballet Academy in the summer of 2005 with the goal of having a studio that is committed to providing careful, correct ballet training to her students.
