Anytime you can entrust someone to make alterations to your wedding gown, you know you've found the right seamstress! Within less than one month's notice, and with a planned vacation already booked, Marrin completed two fittings for my dress along with fittings for my junior bridesmaids (of which one of them lived out of state and was unable to make it for the final fitting).
All three dresses came out perfectly and my wedding day was everything that I dreamed of, partly because of Marrin and her expertise, attention to detail and superior level of professionalism. Marrin has altered other articles of clothing for me, and whenever I hear of someone in need of a seamstress I send them to Marrin with confidence in knowing that she will get the job done right the first time.

She has been in the business of dressmaking and tailoring for 30 plus years, Marrin Hobbs-Smith began sewing in high school in Rockford, IL. She continued to sew as a military wife. While living in several states and even Japan, she was mentored and learned all she could from many professionals. She earned a profieciency in modern dressmaking certification in 1989.
