Our cellulose insulation is treated with a borate for fire retardancy, mold and mildew deterrent and insect repellant. Cellulose carries a very high STC (Sound Transmission Class) rating for sound control on interior and exterior walls making it noticeably quieter than other insulation materials. Cellulose is a certified green building product made from recycled paper (85% post consumer).
If you are a Home Builder or a Private homeowner looking to build your dream home we can help you. Our goal is to provide home insulation that is comfortable, energy efficient and budget friendly. We are able to achieve this through consulting with you (ie builders and homeowners) on what their specific objectives are for their new build.
Crawlspace encapsulations are on the rise solely to help control indoor air quality in your home. Crawlspaces are notorious for being damp and a breeding ground for mold and mildew. Traditionally existing homes have R-19 fiberglass in between the floor joists and a 6mil vapor barrier on the soil. New techniques have been developed to improve the indoor air quality of your home.
