There are still a few additions and changes to be made. I will respond asap. Fee includes Nutcracker shirt, costumes rental, rehearsal time. First come first serve, reserve seating only. Other free promotion performances may be scheduled. These are not mandatory and will only include excerpts. Not all dancers will be needed.
These performances are fun and a great opportunity for our dancers. In addition to participation fee we need PARENTS to participate in ONE category of our Parent Points Production Program. Many hands make for light work. This is going to be an amazing production and a great year! Payments are by cash or check only and fee schedule is based on a 10 month period with 10 equal payments.

Services
The Ballet Conservatory and Destin School of Music and Dance are committed to providing high quality music and dance instruction for students of all ages. Our students gain confidence, poise, and lasting friendships by studying music and dance with nurturing teachers in a non-competitive environment.
All students are placed into classes by the director. She considers the experience and strengths of each individual before them in a class that will be the best fit for their own personal level and goals. Director's approval is necessary for ALL class placement and involves many factors. New students may be required to audition or take a placement class.
Two years of ballet training required and Dancers must have directors permission to enroll in this intensive. Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Stretch, Leaps and Turns, Special Workshops in Improvisation/Choreography. This dance extravaganza week will include ballet, musical theatre, jazz, leaps/turns/stretch, art and crafts.
These Dress Code Guidelines should be followed at all times. These guidelines are put in place to show respect for your instructor, When attending or leaving class, you must wear a cover-up. No one should be walking outside in just a leo and tights! Gentlemen, please check with your teacher to be sure your attire is appropriate.
Directions and visuals on make up for dancers of different ages and for different sized venues. Keep your costume in Prima Ballerina condition! Whether you've purchased a new costume or you're renting one from the studio, as a dancer, it is your responsibility to maintain it in its best possible condition.

I’ve been a student here since I was 4 years old. I’ve always loved how ballet is taught classically yet still having a laid back environment. The teachers enjoy what they do which makes it all the difference. I have also taken classes like modern, contemporary, musical theatre, and more at the studio and love them just as much as the ballet!

Great teachers that were both professional and friendly with the kids. Sadly Covid stopped my daughter's dance lessons, but the school was great in offering online lessons when we couldn't actually go into the studio. Unfortunately my daughter never got the chance to go back because soon after we moved away from the area, but she definitely loved her ballet lessons!

We LOVED the instructors, we recently moved and miss them dearly. My daughter started dancing when she was 4 til she was 8. Ms. Dana and Ms. Poppell we’re her instructors; they have standards but still have fun without it being a being competitive setting.
The Nutcracker was a yearly tradition that my daughter and her friends would look forward to each year they would have a new part each year. It is a experience that you, your family members and your daughter or son will remember for a lifetime.

My daughter has taken ballet and tap classes at Ballet Conservatory since 1st grade, and she is now almost through high school. She has also enjoyed musical theater/jazz classes as well. As a parent, I like that all students can participate each year in the Nutcracker production and a Spring recital. I have always felt that my daughter continued to want to dance here because she was taught in an encouraging and positive environment.

My daughter took dance at Ballet Conservatory the entire time we lived in Niceville. She absolutely loved it. Mrs. Noreen is a fabulous teacher and definitely a professional when it comes to ballet! It’s a smaller school so it has a family friendly vibe!!

All 3 of my girls have danced at the Ballet Conservatory. All of the instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and kind. The performances are always well organized and lovely. The Nutcracker is the event my girls look forward to being a part of every year. Would highly recommend Ballet Conservatory for any dancer.

We have our granddaughter enrolled here and thoroughly love the environment. She is learning more than just dance...she is learning discipline, the rewards of putting in the effort to learn and succeed, and other life lessons.
