You always want to use the best ingredients when you're cooking. And, as you know, water plays a large part in the preparation of many meals. So, while you would certainly elect to use chemical free, clean water for cooking if you had the choice, you'd probably consider it a waste to use bottled water.
The Hudson Valley region provides some of the best water in the world. Through an elaborate system of distribution lines and thousands of private wells, our community enjoys seemingly endless amounts of potable water. Pure water does not exist for long in nature. Water dissolves and carries with it almost everything it touches.
The selection of the best water filtration system for your needs begins by having your water tested to determine its quality and which contaminants may be present. Next, we'll help determine which product gives you the type of filtration that best addresses your concerns. Be aware that multiple water quality problems may require a "systems" approach that combines several technologies.
A homeowner in rural High Falls, NY was plagued with unusually high levels of sulfur in her water. It destroyed appliances, rendered food inedible, and even make house guests sick. As proof of Hudson's deep commitment to solving water problems - a well researched ozone solution was developed and applied, making the sulfur challenge a thing of the past.
With our experience and expertise, we can help you with any type of chemical contamination you may have with your water. Below, you'll find detailed information on the EPA national drinking water standards, including possible adverse health effects and typical water treatment methods for each type of contaminant.

These people installed a system in our home and we have had constant problems with brown water for almost 2 years. When I call them for appointment they have made me wait up 1.5 weeks to have someone come check the system. When I called to try to get help the women on the phone was defensive and angry and extremely unprofessional. When you pay thousands of dollars for a water system you should be able to get answers from the people who installed it without rudeness. Bottom line, go somewhere else. There are plenty of places to get water treatment systems where people don’t treat you like dirt

The folks at Hudson valley water resources are great. I've been using them for about four years now. They are responsive and knowledgeable and they are never trying to make a quick buck. There were a couple times where they could have easily convinced me that I needed rebedding or a new system but instead they found the real problem and either fixed it or told me how to fix it ( no charge). These folks are real people doing the best they can!!

Had a repair guy from them, the guy couldn't figure out a simple problem and was slamming doors in the basement and at my front door. He was having a temper tantrum. He didn't fix it, gave him a check for $400 and immediately stopped payment on it. Never heard from HVWR again, KEEP AWAY FROM HVWR, totally incompetent

I have been using this company to service my water system in Woodstock, NY for a couple of years. I was getting occasional black specks of carbon coming out of my faucets after they recently serviced my carbon filter tank and changed the carbon media in it. I thought at first it was normal to get some residual sediment after they did the work, so I didn't bother to call them right away until it got worse after about 6-8 weeks. When I called them to tell them what was happening, they were not very helpful and very unprofessional in my opinion. They told me to bypass the carbon filter, which I did
