When I learned I needed a mastectomy I was overwhelmed and anxious about choosing the right reconstruction method. From the moment I called Dr. Vasile's office and she personally picked up the phone to speak with me, I felt immediately reassured. Dr. Vasile is a surgeon and physician beyond compare. She is incredibly skilled, dedicated, meticulous, caring, responsive and accessible. In order to fit my surgery in so that I didn't have to wait weeks, she saw me in her office on weekends right before and after her scheduled trip. I could only say that I fully agree with all that has already been said by the other reviewers (on Google and her website). Dr. Vasile and her staff are excellent! I travelled from Connecticut to see her at Northern Westchester hospital. Dr. Vasile is thorough, extremely detailed, kind, caring, and spends the time needed to answer questions and provide you options. I recently had a mammo and the technician, who's been in field 15+ yrs said it's the best reconstruction she's ever seen. Thank you Dr. Vasile and staff!
