I am a longtime customer of Annie’s and have recommended them to many people over the past 20 years, but that won’t happen again. Today, I had a shockingly bad experience. I took three very nice items in for alterations. One item was a long dress that I wanted made into a short dress. I brought a shorter dress as a reference point. It was 43”. I wanted the new one to be 3-4” shorter than the older dress, so 39-40”. He pinned up the front of the dress much shorter than I asked for. That was awful, so he pinned it a little longer but still too short. When I asked him to him to use a measuring

I’ve had two complicated alterations on two very important articles of clothing completed here - one on a bridesmaid dress in 2019 and another on my wedding dress in November 2021; he also altered my husband’s suit for our wedding. Santos did an excellent job on both dresses and my husband’s suit. We planned our wedding in about 40 days, and we only had about a week to get everything altered. He was able to meet our deadline while completing high quality work. I cannot recommend Annie’s Alterations enough, and I will continue coming here for all my alteration needs!

I used this business once- I will not be back. Owner was knowledgeable and efficient. Work was done well. However, his business practice was somewhat dishonest. I had a jacket altered, he wrote up the price and said come back Friday. When I returned to pick up, he said “I forgot to charge you for the additional hem” and added another $24. This was completely optional- I would have declined had I known of the extra cost. He did not call (he had a phone number)to relay the mistake. Nor did he accept that he made the error and left the charge off the total. Also, it was handy I had the extra cash

Great service and a job very well done. I had them hem up the legs of a leather motorcycle track suit. Don't be afraid to take your leathers here! They did a great job! Couldn't have asked for more and at a fantastic price as opposed to companies who deal strictly with racing suits!

Annie’s Alterations saved my wedding dress just days before my wedding! I had taken it somewhere else in Knoxville that could not get my dress right. (didn’t know about Annie’s Alterations) then was suggested this place so I took it here and they let me come after hours and did an amazing job! I was very picky about how I wanted it to look and he understood my vision and made it happen. I’m very picky about alterations and HIGHLY recommend this business.

I will never take my clothing anywhere else! Santos is absolutely amazing and everything is spot on! He has altered my husbands suit for our wedding,my wedding dress,my dad's suit,and my jeans. There's no way anything could've turn out any more perfect,including his personality and professionalism. He's reasonable on prices and very punctual on getting things back. I seriously cannot express how happy I am we found this place. I almost want to go through all my clothes just so he can make them better.

This is the best place for alterations in Knoxville. Customer service is top notch, and their work is impeccable! I can not recommend enough :) I have brought a variety of items here (puffer coats, bridesmaid dresses, regular everyday clothing, delicate formal wear) and it all comes back to me looking better than when I bought it.

I ordered a wedding dress online based on my measurements. When it arrived, I could barely zip the back in the chest area. Annie was able to give me a couple extra inches and allow me to breath. Very kind, slightly pricey but worth it for the quality. I will highly recommend him to anyone needing alterations.
