Sis Auto & Furniture Upholstery (Sis Upholstery) has a rich history dating back to 1920's Germany. The company was founded by Francis Xavier Sis, known by all as FX, in 1924. Born and raised in Germany, FX became a Master Upholsterer in 1914. In 1923 FX left Germany to head to America, specifically St. Cloud, MN where his uncle, Joseph Sis, sponsored his immigration.
At Sis Upholstery we are equipped to handle all of your commercial needs, whether large or small. If your existing seating is worn through, uncomfortable to sit on, or the dcor of the room has changed, Sis Upholstery is able to work with you to provide the best solutions for your situation and at the same time provide a variety of choices and estimates to fit your needs.
Since our beginning in 1924, Sis Upholstery has been performing upholstery services on automotive interiors, tops and vinyl tops on all makes and models of cars. From the late 1800's to present day, automotive upholstery has been part of our history. With three generations of knowledge and upholstering experience quality and craftsmanship is put into every job.
Sis Upholstery dates back to FX Sis, founder of the company, who worked in Germany as a master upholsterer. Today, three generations later, we carry on the expertise and passion that Sis Upholstery was founded on. We can take care of all of your furniture upholstery needs, from recovering your existing furniture to bringing an antique heirloom back to its original glory to custom furniture builds.
Recreational Equipment, ranging from motorcycles, ATVs, boats, snowmobiles, etc. are often in need of recovering due to age or mishaps. Sis Upholstery upholsterers are experts in custom bike seats. We are able to incorporate different designs and mediums into the seat to fit your specifications. If your seat sits at the wrong height or width, Sis Upholstery is able to custom shape the foam to fit.
