We enjoy getting to know our patients and then providing care that specifically meets their needs. Patient comfort is extremely important to us and we do all we can to make patients' visits as pleasant as possible.

From many hours of continuing education, to paying attention to details, to taking the time to do things well, we do all we can to provide quality care for our patients. We take our time to thoroughly explain options with words and pictures that the patient can understand. We are a group of professionals who are dedicated to serving you with the most pleasant dental experience.
Services
Wendy has been with our practice since early 2015. However, she isn't a stranger to the dental field. After starting out as a dental assistant in 1986, she found her calling to work in the front office. Over the years she has worked all aspects of the administrative side to dentistry. Wendy will usually be the one to greet you and is enjoying getting to know everyone.
In an effort to keep dental costs down while maintaining a high level of professional care, we have established the following payment options for our patients. For patients without insurance, 5% discount when paying at the time of service with a check or cash. We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and any debit cards including your healthsavings cards.
Every new patient to our office receives a new patient exam which includes a complete set of digital radiographs (x-rays), an oral cancer screening, a periodontal evaluation, and if necessary, a set of diagnostic study models made from impressions of your teeth. Your health history is very important to us, so we will review this with you as well.

Dr. Scheffel is no longer at Westgate Dr. We went to see him in Beaverton but he is highly recommended. Before we even started to be his patient officially, my husband had a life-threatening situation and I would say Dr. Scheffel had saved his life and saved our family!

My husband had a long term severe gum disease and being stubborn, he finally got a life-threatening infection coming back from his business trip. His face was swollen up all the way to his ear on one side. I called Dr. Scheffel's office explained the situation, telling them that we were NOT his patient but we need to see

My daughter recently switched to this dentist upon a recommendation. She was scheduled for a cleaning. Went in for cleaning. The dental hygienist Linda, who cleaned her teeth took it upon herself (instead of speaking with Dr. Sheffel!) to inform my daughter that she needed a surgical procedure! That she was above 50% sure that my daughter needed this procedure! We thought only the dentist himself would diagnose a patient... not the the hygienist! That was a first & a shock. She's not the dentist! Hello! Upon questioning Dr. Sheffel about this situation, he was extremely unreceptive and

There are two good things I will say about Dr Scheffel's office: The dental hygienists at his office are AMAZING -- so sweet and kind and helpful. He is also amazing with needles -- you don't feel a thing when he gives you Novocain.

Other than that, my experiences there have been rather scary. Once, he shot me full of Novocain and then proceeded to leave me in the chair alone for two hours. When he came back, I was completely unnumb and he had to do another round of shots. A few years later, when he said I had cavities, I asked him some questions about why I would be getting them and
