Since 2004, Dr. Paul K. Albert and his caring staff in Ellsworth, ME, have been providing a personalized touch to eye care, diagnosing vision issues, and treatments. Don't even bother with contacts here. Normally you're in and out with a prescription for contacts at any other eye care professional. Here you do a trial and still can't get your prescription. NOT WORTH THE $140 for the contacts (one pair) and appointment. Go to someone younger with more experience in contact vision care. I paid in full for them to give me the run around. Short staffed is the excuse. Not wise to continue with this establishment. I recommend ANY other establishment!!

Dr. Albert is wonderful, his staff, not so much. Patient care seems unbeknownst to them. I was told 2 weeks for our glasses to be ready and that they would call. A whole MONTH later, hadn't heard a thing so I called them. They said, "oh yeah they've been here in our backroom"! I asked why I didn't get a call and the gal mumbled something about their automated system.... Please hire staff that cares about your patients and don't operate like robots.

I brought in a pair of expensive frames to get lenses. I was told it would be better quality than my usual place. (Walmart) The first time I received my glasses they had a big scratch on the lense. So I took them back and they told me they will have it fixed and personally inspect them before mailing. After looking over these glasses again I noticed the right lense is jammed into the frame not even fitting properly. I ordered these frames online for $250 and now that it’s been over 30 days I can no longer return them. I’m afraid the integrity of the frame has been compromised. They also have

Worst patient care. Dr Albert is a good Dr but his staff is horrid and product is extremely poor. Had to have lens replaced twice and reluctantly replaced frames only after a small argument. All within the one year warranty period.
Dr Albert is a goo Dr, does a good script but I for sure would go elsewhere for my glasses.
