Dr. Lauren Agnew is a Louisiana native and St. Scholastica highschool graduate. She earned her undergraduate degree from Tulane University and continued on to Southern College of Optometry. Dr. Agnew returned to Mandeville to serve the community. She is married to a supportive husband and is the mother of two young boys.

I called to see if I could leave a message for Dr. Agnew to call me when she had a minute, I wanted to ask her a question about my son after just leaving a doctors appointment and was told she was in clinic and it wouldn’t be available till later and I said that was fine. A minute later the receptionist calls back and says Dr. Agnew says if you have a question you can either make an appointment or email her. I said no thank you..I l’ll just call another doctor. 15 Minutes later I get a call from Dr. Agnew saying: (I kid you not) Not Hello or how can I help you? First thing out of her mouth

Ashley at Eye Wares Mandeville was the only person who offered to order me the frames I wanted. Although adjusting to the new progressive prescription and lens shape, the frames and lenses are of excellent quality. The fitting also went well, as I am certain subsequent adjustments will. The staff is friendly and competent. The in-store frame selection is excellent.

I made an appointment for my 3 year old daughter at Eyewares and we both had the best experience with Dr. Agnew. I would not trust any other doctor with my child as I do with Dr. Agnew. She has the most patience and understanding when it comes to your little one and their fears. Not to mention, her knowledge and the interest and sincere care she gives to her patients. Hands down best eye doctor around!

Dr. Agnew and her staff are true and caring professionals. She saw me instantly when I had an eye injury and cared for me so that we could continue on a vacation. Most recently, I brought my daughter to her for an eye exam. Dr. Agnew made recommendations for her to have the best long term outcome and thoroughly explained the "how" and the "why" behind her recommendation. Her staff assisted in selecting and sizing of glasses and had all of the insurance paperwork filed and approved ahead of time. I highly recommend Eye Wares Mandeville for your entire family.

They are friendly, engaging and very attentive when discussing my needs for new glasses. Their clinic is amazing with the latest technology for eye exams in addition to various selections of glasses and styles to choose from. Dr. Agnew places an emphasis on listening to her patients while many other docs are rushing you out the door to get to the next patient.
Not here- they take their time in all phases. If you are not happy with your current Eye Doc, don't hesitate to schedule an appointment with EyeWares because you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Agnew is so knowledgeable about eye care & vision. She explains everything in terms I can understand. Her inventory is one of a kind and I especially love the variety of sunglasses she offers.
