With the support of our outstanding personnel and loyal customers, Greiner Industries has evolved from a one-man welding shop to a world-class steel fabrication company with approx. 300 talented employees on a 200-acre industrial complex with over 450,000 square feet of "under-roof" work area. The business was initially named "Frank Greiner Welding & Fabricating".
Thanks to his talent and unwavering commitment to making quality products, Mr. Greiner's business quickly grew. Within two years, Mr. Greiner constructed a 30,000 square-foot shop along PA Route 230 near Elizabethtown. It housed welding, custom metal fabrication and millwrighting operations. Blasting and painting facilities soon followed.

Greiner's got lifting power - let our fleet and crane operators do the heavy work for you!. Greiner has been serving Lancaster, York, Hershey/Harrisburg and up to a 200 mile radius from our Mount Joy, PA location for more than 45 years. We have over a dozen sizes of cranes which are rated from 45-ton up to 600-ton, with many combinations of boom length up to 478.3'.
Raker Girders for for the stadium seating sections of the Pittsburgh Steelers' Heinz Field. We're equipped to handle projects that most fabricators aren't. In fact, many of our customers are other fabricators that turn to us for support on their large-scale jobs. We also like to take on the not-so-big jobs so our shop is always running steady.
We're able to build girders up to 12 feet deep, 150 feet long and weighing up to 140 tons. Our Girder Welder Gantry utilizes a 5/32-inch diameter single or tandem submerged arc welding process. This significantly reduces our labor and your cost. We have AISC Certification for the fabrication of Complex Steel Building Structures and Advanced Major Steel Bridges with Fracture-Critical and Sophisticated Coatings Endorsements.
When you've been in the business as long as we have - and have the steel manufacturing capabilities that we have - there aren't many projects we can't handle. When it comes to miscellaneous metals manufacturing and equipment like stairs, platforms, ladders, handrails and more - Greiner really can do it all.

Quality work. The review stating the owner puts political signage on his cranes is false. I know the owner and he keeps his political opinions separate from his business. He is a respectable man. The only thing I could think of was that the Forman put them on their trucks without Frank Greiner knowing. Perhaps the other review could include a photo or better yet just take it down because it is false information.
