I thoroughly enjoyed my extended stay at Harbor Garden House. The house is well-appointed and tastefully decorated, and the garden is an absolute haven of tranquility. The location is perfect - right next to downtown Ocean Springs, but in a secluded neighborhood by the inner harbor where I could enjoy the peace and tranquility of Coastal Mississippi's stunning scenery, flora, and fauna.
Don went above and beyond to provide the most enjoyable and comfortable experience, and his attention to detail was impeccable. In addition to his prompt responses to any queries I had, tours of his beautiful property

It was the perfect place in Ocean Springs to spend a week with my Nine year old niece while she attended Sea Camp...we were safe and secure in a lovely home surrounded by a wonderful ‘forest!” Don was the perfect host and spent time orienting us to this beautiful place. Great kitchen, easy living and gave us the feeling I hoped for, of a special Eccentric Grand Aunt’s home!

Harbor Garden House is serenity which allows you to fully relax from busy vacation days or just get away from the pressures of your everyday life. If you like total peace and quiet while you mentally gear up for your day what could be better than sitting in a rocking chair; sipping a morning cup of coffee or tea while you watch the birds at the feeders and the squirrels trying to get at the feeders? Walking through the garden/habitat is also very relaxing. Don is a great host with vast knowledge of the area and will gladly share all sorts of ideas for places or activities you might be interested

Super quiet home overlooking the inner harbor at Ocean Springs, MS. Close to downtown and just a short walk to the harbor. The home has a lot of natural light. The kitchen and dining room look out on the a lovely garden. We saw lots of birds. The master bed was super comfortable! Quiet neighborhood and Don, the host, is the full of helpful information about the area!

We happened to come to this wonderful, quiet paradise as we were evacuating from Hurricane Irma!! And what we found was nothing short of breath taking and relaxing!! The week we spent here was relaxing and enchanting (I didn't want to return to the everyday craziness of Miami life)! Don had everything ready for us, including some cold beer in the fridge and honestly after a 26 hours drive - it was the perfect way to start our unplanned "vacation". He lives next door so was available if we needed anything (which we didn't b/c he even had a book for us with suggestions of places to go and see). At
