Homeopathy utilized the principle that "like cures like", meaning that small, highly diluted quantities of medicinal substances are given to cure symptoms, when the same substances given at higher of more concentrated doses would actually cause those symptoms. Biologically-based Practices involve the use of substances found in Nature, such as herbs, vitamins, minerals, and foods to nourish the body and encourage healing and prevention.
B.S. in Pharmacy, Duquesne University. Jim has experience in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing for Lederle Labs, as a retail pharmacy manager for Rea & Derrick, Eckerd Drugs and CVS. In addition, Jim has owned and operated two other pharmacies in Erie, PA (Lawrence Park Apothecary and Waterford Apothecary) before launching Lakewood Apothecary.
We believe in the importance of supporting traditional healthcare using the many things nature provides. We believe that it is possible to treat many symptoms of diseases using true homeopathic remedies because their highly diluted state eliminates side effects and allows them to be used with traditional treatments.
