My idea of a perfect night consists of a binge oh a Netflix series and an episode of The Real Housewives of anywhere. I have two fantastic children that I homeschooled and an amazing husband who's also my partner in design and diy crime. So here we are at part 2 of this table transformation. In the last post I showed you how I removed the laminate off the tabletop. Today I want to show you how I stained the top and completely transformed the look of this table. I use all kinds of stains but for this project I decided to use Minwax Golden Pecan and Espresso.

I like mixing these two stains to create an aged look. I typically use General Finishes Gel Stains which I also love but I'm trying to use up all of the products I have so Minwax it is.

Purchased a Christmas tree- fresh! Good price.
I stepped inside to check out the store- nice.. reasonably priced.
Only negative- I tipped the gentleman who helped us with our tree when I went inside to pay- my husband tipped when the gentleman came out before me. He never said anything to my husband that I already tipped; I figure he really needs the money or would have said something.
In reply to the response- he knew we were together- I just thought it odd he didn’t mention to my husband I already tipped. I don’t plan to claim my tips back.
