This salon is a gem! We recently moved to the area and I have been on the search for a new salon and let’s just say, I’ve found it! John was my stylist and I am SO happy with my cut. These guys are talented, down to earth, and so funny! Overall fantastic experience and I will definitely be back.

John was absolutely wonderful! It was my first time getting a haircut by myself and I came in with kind of an idea, but also not really. He was super attentive, very funny, and absolutely an expert in his craft! I've never loved a getting a haircut more - will definitely be coming back and will always highly suggest Capital Cuts!

I hate conversing with people sometimes. But not here. The conversations are hilarious and I always leave feeling good. Place is clean and owners are absolutely amazing. I hate getting haircuts but after coming here a few times I will never go anywhere else. Even if I move out of Harrisburg I'll still travel to Capital Cuts for my haircuts. Amazing job every time. 10/10

The best salon experience I’ve had! Not only did John totally ROCK my hair, the salon itself was very clean, welcoming, and nicely decorated with pretty cool art work. The guys are amazing and super funny! I have found my new salon home!

John is a MIRACLE worker!
I fried my own hair trying to color at home and came in looking for help to turn it some color other than orange.
Only 2 hours or so later and I left with a beautiful red and hair that was noticably softer and less tangled. And the value was incredible, paid much less than most salons I've been to.
Thanks again!! 💕 Highly reccomend.

Had my hair cut here the other day and will definitely be going back again! This salon has been in business for something like 90 years.. but it was just recently purchased by a new owner. His name is John and he's very talented with the scissors. Very friendly, fantastic cut and a GREAT value! Oh, they also offer online scheduling which is super convenient. Thanks, John!

I am a at home hair colorer and I never achieve the color I am looking for. I went to capital cuts the staff was super welcoming and even gave me wine... they made great conversation and in fact in one session I achieved the look I wanted without any damage.. they went over up keep and I will never go anywhere else thanks capital cuts recommended to anyone who loves fun colors and new looks!!
