Services
With an initial grant of $50,000 from the CT DHR, services are provided 16 hours per week at the 900 square foot "White House" on the grounds of Windham Hospital. 1985 - The clinic expands to 20 hours per week with one session provided at the Windham Heights Housing Project. 1987 - 1,387 patient visits are provided at both sites by.2 FTE Nurse Practitioners and.1 FTE physicians.

To strive to provide access to quality health care that is patient-focused in delivery and maximizes all available resources.
We have an appointment system which allows access to your Primary Care Provider. If an appointment is not available for the time you need, feel free to speak with one of our LPN's to assess your need and assist you. Sick calls and clinical advice will be reviewed by the nurse with a return call. In addition to this, we will be starting a new appointment schedule to increase your access to appointments when you need them.
Generations Family Health Center is now offering Telemedicine when appropriate for our Medical and Behavioral Health patients. Telemedicine is a visit through video chat or a phone call with your provider (Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, Behavioral Health Clinician or Psychiatrist.) It is easy, confidential, and covered by many insurance plans.
