You're trip to the airport should be easy! With our pickup and drop off location guide, it's easy to find your San Jose or San Francisco airport shuttle. Our pickup and drop off locations are available in Marina, Prunedale, and Monterey, as well as, San Francisco International Airport (International and Domestic) and San Jose International Airport (Terminal A, B, and International).
The online system will let you book a seat up to 4 hours prior the scheduled time. Anything closer than 4 hours, please call 831-373-7777. If booking for an early morning departure, we recommend at least 10 hour notice. Home or Hotel pick up for the 3:30am shuttle will have an early morning fee applied of $10 to the fare.
Monterey Airbus is a very good means of transportation to SFO. It was very convenient, the price is fair, the driver was a gentleman, the bus was very clean, they offered water, they provide free WiFi that works great, and they were ON TIME. I'm also happy that it was in a larger van than what is shown in the photo.

My driver called me half an hour in advance to confirm my ride. I mistakenly thought that was my another yellow cab which I canceled before, so I told my driver I canceled the reservation. Despite the misunderstanding, my driver was able to quickly come back to pick me up so that I could make it to the airport. The company really cares about its customers - it has an agile operation and the employees went out of their ways to help the customers. Plus, the cars and shuttle buses are super clean so you'd have comfortable rides. I would highly recommend Monterey Airbus!!!

Not bad prices, friendly service, punctual, I do wish the instructions on the website for the location of the Monterey station were more specific because I can see how someone would be waiting in the wrong spot if they were taking the bus on a day that wasn't crowded, the bus itself was comfortable and warm

Agree with other reviewers that the customer service is terrible. The company does what is convenient for themselves and does not care about the customers. Scheduling is a hassle. If you need to cancel, they will only issue a credit. The price is expensive. The ride is uncomfortable. I only use this service when absolutely necessary. I prefer to fly from MRY to SFO or rent a car. Wish there were other shuttle options between MRY and SFO. Monterey Airbus needs some competition to encourage better customer service and pricing.

Horrible, Horrible, HORRIBLE customer service. I needed to use this service in a pinch and the driver was a disaster-so late Shoddy buses that speed over bumps and completely jostle, your belongings-so unnecessary. Oh, by the way, Monterey Airbus will keep you waiting for an hour to pick you up, but when you arrive at the pickup station four minutes late, they will leave you high and dry-the drivers will not pick up their cell phones and there is no back up phone assistance to help you. Beware. Customer since 2011. Service downhill since. Booked a car seat for infant 09/21. Driver showed up without. Called multiple for refund on extra charge. Deaf ears. Had to dispute with credit card. Shuttle often has broken AC. Drivers often aggressive/rude/inattentive/speeding/unsafe driving. The business' internal processes are haphazard. Safer to rent your ride elsewhere. Will file complaint with BBB due to irresponsible operation and endangerment of passengers.

The vehicle that was provided to the driver was too small for the amount of reservations (was a Cadillac Escalade instead of an actual bus). Driver was put in a bad position when there were literally not enough seats for the amount of people he was supposed to pick up. Poor planning on management's part.

Convenient, wonderful drivers, ample space. So glad the service has resumed! The seats were comfortable and they have USB ports to charge your electronics. Although the ride over is a little bumpy, I assume it's the vehicle's shock suspension. Other than that, definitely recommend taking this airbus to your next airport trip!.

This is a super convenient service and the drivers are always friendly. My 6:30am ride up to SJC was in a SUV. No issues. However, as much as I want to love the service I can't. The ride on the shuttle bus is extremely bumpy. I was bouncing up and down in my seat and got a headache. Another passenger had to take his bag out of the overhead storage because it was going to fall out. I would give a 5 star rating if the vehicle was better. Overall, though. this is a convenient way to get to and from the airport.

Horrendous customer service. The system kept saying that my credit card was invalid and I called the agent. The woman was rude and aggressive right away and said that I have to pay $52 dollars versus $47 on the website. When I said that it's their system glitch, the response was "It's not my problem". After my astonishment, the person told me to call back when I "calm down" and hung up. I will never use this company again. They should go through customer service training before dealing with clients. The most hilarious thing is that they claim to be "Convenient and cautious". Sure. Never again.

I'm glad Monterey Airbus is back in operation again after a year plus on covid break. The price is reasonable, the driver was courteous and timely, but.....
The vehicle was AWFUL! It might sound wimpy, but the bus rode like it had bricks instead of shocks. Every pebble on Hwy 101 felt like we had run over a boulder. Monterey Airbus (aka Groome Transportation) had 15 mos to do a little vehicle maintenance. Come on - fix the suspension! I've ridden on military vehicles that ride better.

Going to the airport is always a stressful time for anyone. The online reservations make reserving a seat on the bus so easy and it puts your mind at ease when filling in your flight info and suggested leave time does all the thinking for you. To top it off the drivers unnderstand the passengers stress and makes us feel at ease knowIng where to go and terminal information. Started out bad..6:30am pick up at MRY did not happen..so at 6:40am called and got service. Service called manager and driver called me right away. Said he'd be there in 5 minutes..and he was. From them on..4 stars for drive to SJC. Comfy, nIce vehicle, friendly and efficient driver. nice way to get to San Jose. Will do it again for less than $40.

Called them to see if the shuttle had left sfo and the lady told me no but then said she'd check with the driver, who told her he did leave. I couldn't see the shuttle name where I was standing but just as I was approaching the bus in front of the Monterey one, the driver drove off. I told the lady where I was standing so it would've been nice for her to tell the driver that I was there just walking from the walkway. Instead, I had to wait more than 1 hour for the next shuttle (bcuz they r never on time).

So I took the Airbus back from San Jose to the Prunedale stop. Although the driver was nice and got us home in record time, the bus hit every bump which made us almost come out of our seats. With that, when I got to my destination, the driver took out my new suitcase that I got the weekend before which was a carry on from the back of the bus and it was damaged. I wrote the business and there was no response.

As always, an on-time and reliable service. On my trip today, however, there was an unpleasant surprise: the bus is brand-new and apparently has no shock absorption whatsoever! Every bump in the highway feels like a severe blow, sending everyone flying up from their seats. I am not exaggerating at all -- it is a terrifying and physically challenging way to travel. If you were on a plane in this sort of severe turbulence, it would make the newspapers!
I hope Monterey-Salinas Airbus will consider sending this bus back to its manufacturer, and replace it with something which offers an acceptable

Good service. It doesn't stop at your airline specifically...just a heads up. It stops in the terminal, but up a ways and then you have to walk back and find your airline. When you don't get there on time, it can cause a little anxiety to not get dropped off in front. But overall fone. Seats are comfortable.

It was 98 degrees at SJO and they picked us up in a shuttle with NO AC. I am in perfectly fine health, but elderly or disabled persons may have actually died on the 1.5hour drive in stop and go traffic. The shuttle driver handed us a lukewarm tiny water bottle and mentioned the AC wasn't so cold. Bit of an understatement I'd say.
The ride quality of the shuttle was also horrible. Above 40mph the whole thing shook. I willl never, ever, ever use this service again and highly recommend literally any other method of transportation short of walking. I will be telling all of my colleagues

Be Careful! Booked and paid 24 hours in advance.
They text me link to track our driver. Never showed up. Called they said we missed driver but we were 15 minutes early, he never came. They did not call even though they had my number. The car never came close to us as we were tracking. Let us hanging with no way to SFO Airport.

I had to get to Monterey from SFO. So I took the Monterey Airbus. Glad I did.
Bus was clean, driver was courteous, service was on time. Seats were adequately comfortable.
I booked on-line and saved $5 off of the $50 fare.
Only bummer was having to step over homeless people upon our arrival in Monterey.
I recommend the Monterey Airbus.
