Because most yards have enough slope to allow the system to work, the Catch Basin Drainage System is the most common drainage system. If, however, a yard does not have enough slope, we can raise the first drain catch basin and level the pipe in some areas and install down spouts to help push the water to its destination.
A sump pump drainage system is the last option for your drainage needs. We only use a sump pump system if there are no other options available. The reason a sump pump system is the last option is because it relies on manufactured parts (pumps required to remove water). Over time, manufactured parts go bad and need to be replaced.
Texas produces some extreme thunderstorms and in Houston that is magnified with tropical storms and hurricanes. That makes for a lot of rain and without the proper gutter system on your roof; your home could suffer a lot of damage. It only takes about an inch of rainfall to dump nearly 2,000 gallons of water on your roof.

Jimmy and his team are great to work with. Reasonably priced, efficient, on time and great communication. Highly recommend. They were professional and the yard was put back together better than I expected. We just had our first rain too and no water pooling in the yard or on the patio. Very pleased!

Our experience with Jimmy and his team was amazing. We have had so many “experts” tell us that there was no way to get the water away from our house. Jimmy looked at it and said with confidence, “I can fix this” and he did! We were excited to see rain and not see the water collect around our home or washing the mulch from our flower beds! Great experience! Jimmy is very knowledgeable about drainage and sloping of the yard, where to install the boxes. He worked with the natural slope of the yard and created additional sloping by grading the yard so all the water will flow efficiently into the drains. The crew of 3 guys did great work and cleaned the area so when they left, the yard was put back and cleaned up. We have a huge ash tree in the yard which complicated things. They worked carefully around the roots - it was impressive to see how they dug around and under the roots. Fabulous work. If you need the job done right, these guys

DrainXperts are great! Jimmy is a regular down-to-earth guy who knows his business! He came out to give us a bid and as we walked across the yard, he was looking at the shrubs next to the house and some cement blocks the former owner had put down as a way to walk around when the water got high. He pointed out that they were part of the problem! He showed me how they were directing the water TO the house. I had his guys pull up the bushes (my husband hated those bushes!) and the cement blocks. He transformed our yard into a beautiful part of our home.

Jimmy and his crew did an excellent job replacing our old, clogged 4" French drain lines with new 6" pipe. We have had several heavy rains since they installed it a few weeks ago and the back patio has drained perfectly every time. After flooding from Hurricane Harvey, we were always very anxious with even forecasts of heavy rains, but now we can rest easy!!! Superb job at a fair price, with work done by a friendly and efficient crew.

We live on a half acre in dickinson and hired Drain Xperts to run several hundred feet of drain line from our backyard to the ditch in our front yard with hopes of eliminating the swamp that emerges after even a moderate rain- which our 2 "inside" dogs enjoy sprinting through full speed when let out, only to be later met at the back door with with a hose, towel and plenty of curse words...
An extensive yard drainage system like this is no small project, yet Jimmy and his team of 6 or 7 knocked it out in a few days - including permits and inspections. My wife and I were also impressed

This guy came to my house to give me and several of my neighbors estimates on having culverts put in our backyards. He talked like this is all he does and made us to believe he'd do the best job so he gave us an estimate and we excepted his offer and hired him. He already even gave us a date. Not even a week before he was suppose to start he called me. He said he way under bid and could not do it for the amount he previously quoted. He then said I did "one" the other day and it costed me way more than I thought it would. WAIT, you've never done this before? He backed out AFTER
