Martin Luther High School is a vibrant educational ministry that impacts the lives of teenagers in countless ways. The engaging atmosphere at MLHS is one in which every teen is a valued individual who has a God-given future yet to be discovered! The King James Version of the Bible does sound foreign to me these days. Even more foreign is the Greek. The Greek word for suffer, aphiemi, can easily be translated to "send." The Greek word forbid is koluo. It is used and is easily translated as forbid, hinder, or "not to suffer." To get at the meaning of the words is important, but to get the full gist of the verse we must also decipher the tone: Jesus is much displeased.
With all the worldly influences that bombard your children 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, do you think they are really, truly developing a "love for God with all their heart, soul and strength?" Can this be accomplished in just a few minutes a week? Lutheran schools offer a nurturing atmosphere that is nourishes faith and builds character.
The purpose of Martin Luther High School is to provide the spiritual atmosphere necessary to enable the students to obtain quality education and to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ as their personal Savior. Martin Luther High School will strive to continue the Christian guidance and values which have been instilled in these young people through Christian homes, families, and the church.

Our son did graduate from MLHS, and our daughter transferred halfway through her sophomore year to a public school. I personally was never a fan of MLHS, thought it was overpriced for the education receive. During my sons second year the current principle came in and the international student program started, this I believe was the beginning of the end of what was once an excellent school. They are now a choice school and from what I understand that has only worsen the problems. Our son did ok there whereas our daughter excelled at a public school. Much depends on the student.
