Car alarms work by emitting high-volume sound (usually a siren, klaxon, pre-recorded verbal warning, the vehicle's own horn, or a combination thereof) when the conditions necessary for triggering are met, as well as by flashing some of the vehicle's lights, and (optionally) notifying the car's owner via a paging system and interrupting various electrical circuits necessary for the car to start.

I'm always a little worried when I see a review with so many 5's, but after visiting Mike at Tune Times, I can say that the reviews are absolutely warranted. First off, Mike is great to work with, funny as hell and absolutely knowledgeable about cars and stereos. What I found when I met him is that he had gone through a battle with throat cancer, and that leaves him only able to converse using a throat mic.

Honesty goes a long way!!! I just bought a new car because my last one was stolen and I was looking to get a car alarm installed. Mike was very honest with me and told me that my car already had a working alarm system and that I didn't need another one. He walked me through how to use it and gave me tips on alternate ways to open my car if the key battery dies... my mind was blown! Most people would take your money and keep it pushing!! I highly recommend this place.

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to Mike here! My wife and I walked in this morning to inquire about upgrading the stereo in my 2015 wrangler prior to a long drive to Utah on a few days short notice. All the places we had called the day prior were too busy to be able to help us, so we weren't too hopeful we could get it done before our trip. Well, he just so happened to have someone cancel that morning so he was able to squeeze us in and we had a new stereo installed in under 2 hours! Gave them a star because I do believe they have talent. But that’s all they got . Went there after a bad experience at a hole In the wall shop because of all the great reviews. FYI money was not a concern for me. I needed my system set up the way it should be . They guy said he was too busy To service me and I get that . But then proceeds to tell me that he’s too busy to educate me on the trade? Well if I was educated On your trade why do I need you ? Just say your backed up and tell me when to come back. Match your trade skills to your customer service skills, and you could make a lot of money

I made the right choice to go to Mike at Tune Time. He was so knowledgeable and very patient answering all my questions. My stereo job was a super simple touch screen in an older car but he treated it like it was a very important job and did an amazing job !

5 stars all around for customer service ( thanks Mike), product knowledge, quality install in a very timely, accommodating manner, and just an all around great experience. I came in with my 2007 FJ Cruiser and was confident right off the bat that Mike would guide me to an audio system that would fit my needs, because honestly I know nothing about audio systems. Just had a new bluetooth stereo installed in my 12 year old
truck by Tune Time. The owner, Michael, was very personable
and knowledgeable. I was concerned about the complexity of
the job with steering wheel controls and back-up camera, but he made
sure he had all the proper kits and harnesses and everything
came out great and it looks even better than the original factory
stereo. His price was very reasonable considering all the work
involved. I highly recommend his expertise!

I went here for a consult based on the awesome Yelp reviews. Unfortunately I was not impressed. I felt like they were not really interested in helping me since I just needed a basic head unit upgrade for my commuter car. Asked what kinda stereos he had, first thing he said was, "money talks." When asked if I wanted to keep my steering wheel controls (of course yes), he said, "money money money. That's what I like to hear."

I took my 2017 Jeep Renegade to Tune Time Stereo & Alarm to get a head unit installed. Not only did they do a clean installation job but figured out how to make everything work with my stock steering wheel. While getting my head unit installed they also tinted my winddows using 3M tint with a warranty.
They even made my stock USB port work with the new head unit.
I was so impressed I went back to talk about getting a subwoofer enclosure in my spare tire well. My car like a lot of new cars doesnt come with a spare tire. Instead it has an empty space and an air compressor.

Came in to purchase a fuse for the avalanche.
GREAT experience. The gentleman in the shop came out to the truck to take a look, replaced the fuse, no questions asked. He took his time and answered our questions.
Extremely knowledgeable and was looking out for OUR best interest, which seems to be very uncommon in the car repair industry.
Will return and definitely recommend.

My husband took our 2012 Acura TSX here to get a backup camera installed. The dashboard doesn't have room for a monitor, so the monitor is located is located in the rearview mirror. Keep in mind that the monitor only shows when the car is in reverse, otherwise it works like a regular rearview mirror. The camera is located near the rear license plate.
Although this was a pricey upgrade to our five year old car, I felt it was worth the cost. It was very well done and looks OEM. Also, we plan to drive this car into the ground, so having a backup camera really helps me.
