Janna has been not only a great nutritionist, but also a great teacher and a coach. Janna has helped me eat better to feel better. She’s taught me so much about nutrition and how to be my best self by eating smart. Her knowledge and research-supported practical ideas on how to eat healthier are doable for people with busy lives who have limited time to cook. She also works with your insurance company. After putting on 60+ pounds I started working out again in July 2020. I was 220lbs. I needed more, needed help with diet, so I started to go see Janna in November 2020. I had already lost some weight and was down to 197.5lbs before my first appointment with her. I have been seeing her every month since. Each time I check in I get an In-Body scan. These are so helpful to me, it tracks my progress with weight, Skeletal muscle mass, body fat mass etc. I went back on Wednesday and since my last check in with her in September I am down another 3.8lbs, and another 4lbs in body fat. Janna is super thorough and gives you a realistic approach to reaching your weight goals. She will work with you to come up with a meal plan and tips, without imposing impossible restrictions, yeilding in long term results. In the past I have always been given strict diets that caused me to easily fall off the wagon and revert to my old habits. Working with Janna has been wonderful! We really worked on prioritizing first steps and which direction we need to go for my goals. I love that she gave me small realistic things to start with. For example: adding 1 additional veggie to dinner. Very simple and easy to add into my normal routine. From there we made small tweaks through out the process so I could make changes that were actually sustainable.
