I've come to Profenno's for pizza only, and their pizza is second to NONE. I will die on this platform defending their specialty buffalo chicken pie. It is the the best buffalo chicken pizza on side of the Mississippi. Heck. probably the other side of the Mississippi too idk I've never seen the river. Its got blue cheese and celery on it so be prepared for that. Super good.

Very good steak tip Greek salad- we stopped here on the way home and enjoyed their outside seating.
My husband got chicken Greek salad- he liked it. Both salads were huge and had a ton of meat. Very refreshing and delicious for lunch!
Our daughter got chicken nuggets and fries. Our waitress was very nice and got her everything she needed. $55 with two beers and three meals.

Profennos is my favorite Westbrook restaurant. The food is delicious, they have great deals like bogo pizza nights and wine Wednesday, and they are always consistent. The pizza is fantastic with thick cut pepperoni. The BBQ chicken nachos are loaded and enough to feed an army. Their chicken salad sandwich has the best chicken salad I've ever had, not to mention the fresh baked bread. Yum! I highly recommend checking them out!

We were there last night. My mother knows and likes Paul. It was busy. The waitress led us to a high top table. My mother (80 who recently lost her husband) asked if there was a short table available. Annoyed, the waitress waved her arms around and said rudely to my mother , " Does it look like I have another table available. " I quietly told her she didn't need to speak to my mother like that to which she got angry and annoyed. We were trying to have my mother enjoy mother's day with 2 of her kids. We never have that chance because I live in Connecticut. Completely unacceptable.

Ordered a veggie calzone and it was terrible. Very greasy and the dough was not fully cooked through. And when I went to pick it up, the man preparing it was not wearing gloves like the other two employees were - sticking his bare hand in a bowlful of seasoning and putting it on my calzone. We’re still very much in a pandemic!! I should have said something and just walked out. Will never go back.

This place has one of the most unique menu items around: Italian nachos! It's regular nachos with Alfredo sauce instead of red sauce and pepperoni and sausage instead of traditional meat choices like beef or chicken. Amazing! Our wonderful server recommended these when we asked what she likes. It didn't sound real awesome but. It is! We actually ordered traditional nachos and Italian nachos for the table and they were both great! And the bartender was the best that we've had in Southern Maine! Great, refreshing, and delicious drink recommendations

A shrimp scampi pizza with extra toppings and when I opened the box half the pizza was completely bare except for the cheese so I called the restaurant and the very unprofessional manager pretty much called me a liar and did NOTHING to try to make it right! Even took a picture for proof but she didn't care at all.
Will never order from them again!!!!

Whenever I'm up in the 'Brook I HAVE to hit Profenno's. The best pizza and calzones around. The bar has a great old school feel and I love that (please do remodel, or refresh as its called 'character'..too many bars modernize, raise prices and ruin what was a great vibe) Only once did I have an issue where a calzone took an hour and 20 minutes to find my table..maybe it was that busy or maybe the order was forgotten but I won't hold that against a great spot. You people are so lucky to have this place up there, and if you live somewhat close, enjoy and patronize this

Only three stars today. We had to go find the waitress who was in the kitchen conversing. Out of four orders two were correct. I ordered a large sandwich and and got small (charged for a large). My friend got a sandwich that supposed to come with fries but came with chips. Another friend got a plain spaghetti/sauce dinner that comes with no bread or roll. The fourth and final order was correct and ok.
We go here all the time, and it seems to be slipping as if no one cares whether they have customers or not.
The food is good though.

This place wouldn't strike you as a place that makes their own food from scratch - but they do. Their bread and pizza dough are outstanding. If you are driving by this place to order a sandwich from a chain you are missing out. I would put their subs and pizza up against anyone else around. 2-for-1 pizzas on Monday/Tuesday is the best deal around. Their lasagna is also outstanding. Big fan!

Weekends and nights it gets very packed, shoulder to shoulder. Mostly 50+ folks. Karaoke on the weekends. There is an upstairs with pool and darts but unless you're on the of the regulars who plays up there, you are not going to be able to play. The few times I've ventured up the stairs I received death stares and felt very unwelcome so I just walked back downstairs.

The bar at Profenno's Pizzeria was packed with patrons on this Happy Hour, Wednesday evening and I know why, Wings and Beer! I arrived a bit earlier than my son and daughter and was lucky to find the last open table, so I snagged it. I was guickly greeted by the waitress who took my order drink, a diet soda. My son and daughter arrived shortly after and the waitress was there promptly to get their drink orders, my son a beer and my daughter a glass of water with lemon. The price was fantastic at 40 cents per wing and $2.00 for draft beers. The wing choices were Buffalo, BBQ, Salt & Vinagar

I've been going to Profenno's for many years. I really like their sandwiches.
They used to have a trivia night and would go there every week with friends. They don't do that anymore but do have a DJ a couple nights a week. There are also some dart and pool tables upstairs.
If you want some good food and a place to hang out with friends in Westbrook that isn't too busy, crowded or loud this is my go to place.
