Rustic and woodsy. Campsite felt private, good distance between campsites. I went during the weekend in August with no prior reservation and still found an open site.
This campground was an awesome camping experience. Very accommodating staff who had great tips on local places to visit. You can buy firewood and all the essentials there. Keep your food, etc. in the car because they attract bears and wild animals. Bathrooms had free showers with hot water.

Love this quiet campground. Most, if not all of the seasonal sites are well kept. We've camped here a few times and enjoyed it each time. Good friendly people. Close enough to Hickory Run State Park, fast food places and a short drive to town for the market or White Haven Diner (yum). So much to do and see around the area.

This place was not bad but there are a few things they need to work on. The pool is in a state of demolition, no idea if it'll be fixed/replaced this year at all. There needs to be just a few more lights in the area, maybe ground lights for night visits to the facilities. It would be nice if there were more facilities as it might be a good little walk to the bathroom if you don't have one in your camper, and at night, even though there's a quiet time rule of 11 pm, no one is enforcing it, so a campsite close by was having a late night hang and kept me up past 1 am being much louder than they needed
