Located in Alma, we are Southeast Georgia's only independent pediatric care practice to earn recognition as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home. Our office takes a patient-first approach to diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, conditions and developmental issues. You and your little one will feel right at home in our practice because we treat every precious peach like they're part of our family.
The SGPC team is top-notch! We greet new and familiar face alike, with a smile and answers to common questions and concerns. We truly love what we do here - that's why we care for and love each child as if they were our own precious peach.

At SGPC we welcome expectant parents to come meet our staff prior to delivery of a new baby. This visit gives us time to discuss your concerns and review family history so we all know what to expect when the little one arrives. This is also a good time to get to know more about our practice style and makes the first few visits more comfortable for new families.
Although these visits seem uncomplicated, your child's growth, development, behavior, and learning are all assessed during this time. This is the best time to catch problems and address them before they develop further. These visits are also the best time to discuss the questions that come up in the everyday business of raising children so we can work together towards solutions for current problems.
As parents ourselves we understand that it is an urgent matter when children are sick. It is our policy to get kids in to be seen the same day if we are contacted by 11:00 am. We work hard to be available for our patients to avoid urgent care and ER visits and maintain continuity of care with someone who knows your child personally.
Immunizations are important for preventing devastating diseases in children. We encourage complete vaccination of children in our practice but also recognize that your child is your child and medical decisions are personal for parents. We welcome children who are partially or unvaccinated and accommodate alternative schedules as the best possible pediatric care is our goal for all children.
