Services
With our large spray room and 10' x 10' x 25' oven, we are able to coat your items large and small often at the same time. Able to coat, media blast, weld, and/or fabricate large and small projects in a repetitive and consistent manner to fit larger customer's needs. Typically consist of most of our work as we are contracted to perform our services from print to real-life products for the end-user.

Dishman fabrications and powdercoating has come a long way since it first started, i know personally because i have grown with it.
Dishman fabrications and powdercoating started as a very small buisness welding on boats, creating crows nests and T-tops and doing other small welding jobs.
Since then it has expanded quite tremendously. Into blasting, powdercoating, and fabricating handrails, furniture, rims, car parts, gates and other various items. They even have done work for Busch Gardens as well! I wish i could list it all. They even have expanded their building space and the amount of work

I needed my motorcycle wheels powder coated they gave me a price and date waited month to find out they were still sitting. Once completed it was the wrong color and was chipping upon picking them up. Showed them the chips and after giving me a hard time they re-powdered them which took another month. Very rude the whole time. We went back and forth quite a bit but i dont back down. Not for the faint of heart.

I was a former part-time employee. Had the opportunity to learn a few things outside of the purview of my current work experience under Bens supervision, along with the opportunity to further advance my tig welding skills at Dishman Fabrication. Ben was very respectful with me and very understanding of my need for a flexible schedule. For what is essentially a 1 man operation, I would recommend Dishman Fabrications for just about any type of fabrication/powder coating need(s), based solely from my first hand account of working along side of Ben, and witnessing his interactions and transparency

I brought over 35 pieces of chrome plated steel and polished aluminum to be media blasted and powder-coated/cerakoted. The pricing is very fair and Ben was/is very professional & helpful. He told me a time frame that each batch I brought would be complete & not once did he go beyond the time quoted to me and some were ready a day or two early. I haven't had any fab work done by them yet, but probably will at some point. I would recommend anyone looking for fabrication work (I've seen some of his fab work and it's flawless), powder coating or cerakote work. Two thumbs up to go with the 5 Stars!

ATTENTION ALL SOLDIERS & CIVILIANS
I am a Soldier that lives in Williamsburg and work on Ft Eustis whom travel all the way to this gentleman’s shop because at the time he seemed like a legit business gentlemen. However, I was mistaken big time. I brought a motorcycle part to him for welding and powder coating on 7 March 18. This gentleman set a price and agreed that it would be ready within the following week. I called a total of 3 times and physically went down 3 times to learn that he hadn’t even started yet. I patiently waited 2 months before I finally told this guy to just give me my stuff

We took a set of wheels to Dishman Fabrications to be powder coated. We told them we weren't in any real hurry. They said the wheels should be ready in a week. It did take an extra day or two, but since we also own a business, we fully understand how things can get busy and cause delays. Again, we weren't in any real hurry. When the wheels were completed, they even delivered them to us. I could not be happier with the finished product. The color was exactly what we picked out, the coating is even and smooth with a great gloss. When I need anything else powder coated, I know where I'm going!

I have no idea whether Mr. Dishman is a skillful mechanic. However, if you look for a trustworthy, reliable business partner - and a decent human being - look elsewhere. He had a contract with me to repair the pulpit of my boat, which we agreed upon 6 months ago. He took the pulpit with him and then he never called back. He would have had ample time to do the work over the winter months, but instead he just "forgot" about it. I called him several times starting in February, and every time he promised to "have it done within a week". No dice. NOW, at the height of repair season, he has decided that

I own and run a machine shop in Newport News. Dishman Fabrications does all our welding and powder coating. They do excellent work in a timely manner. It can be a struggle to find quality work at a decent price. However, Dishman Fabrications has continued to provide excellent service over the years.

They are a small shop that “specializes” in fabrication & powder coating. Most may remember the previous shop, prior to changing ownership, T & T Powder Coating. Just as most know that the quality of work and the customer service has drastically changed in the 8 months since Ben Dishman has taken over. I have seen Dishman cuss out customers because they were not satisfied with the end product and they simply wanted what they paid for.
