Put 4 cups water, 1 tablespoon thinly sliced peeled fresh ginger, and 3/4 cup sugar into a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and add 4 hibiscus tea bags. Cover, and let steep 15 minutes. Bring water to a boil, then stop the heat and add Nile Valley Hibiscus or Hibiscus Mint, a spoonful or a teabag for each cup.

Nile Valley Herbs makes a delicious smooth Hibiscus Tea that I have been drinking for about year now. I first started drinking it to lower my high blood pressure and for it's other health benefits (high in Vitamin C, proven to lower both high Blood Pressure and Cholesterol etc.) I purchase it at the Farmers Market but you can also order it online. Today my friend Sarah brought me a glass of their Mango Hibiscus Tea and it was so sweet and delicious I had to go back to their booth to inquire about it.
