Nile Valley Herbs
Hibiscus tea clearly was the beverage favored by the Pharaohs of the ancient Nile Valley when they wanted to refresh themselves in the desert heat. In fact, Hibiscus Tea, throughout history until the present, has been a preferred beverage in many cultures including China, Mexico, the Caribbean, and even Europe.

The Nile Valley, where hibiscus flowers have been grown in the rich silt for millennia, produces the world's finest hibiscus tea. That's where we get the hibiscus flowers for our Nile Valley Hibiscus Tea and Nile Valley Hibiscus Mint Tea. Whether you're looking for a tasty herbal remedy to lower high blood pressure and cholesterol or a refreshing caffeine-free beverage rich in Vitamin C, hibiscus tea may just be your answer!
Services
Did you know that hibiscus herbal tea is not only delicious, but also a very healthy beverage? Studies have shown that drinking hibiscus tea can effectively lower high blood pressure and reduce high cholesterol levels in many individuals! In the video below, Dr. Diane L. McKay discusses findings that drinking hibiscus tea can reduce systolic blood pressure.
Put 4 cups water, 1 tablespoon thinly sliced peeled fresh ginger, and 3/4 cup sugar into a medium sauce pan. Bring to a boil over medium high heat, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and add 4 hibiscus tea bags. Cover, and let steep 15 minutes. Bring water to a boil, then stop the heat and add Nile Valley Hibiscus or Hibiscus Mint, a spoonful or a teabag for each cup.
Since the early 90s, Nile Valley Herbs has been helping the community of Kolomiseed and its neighboring communities, with development projects of various sorts. These projects have been made possible by the assistance of donor organizations, the contributions of many individuals, and the efforts of the villagers.

Love this tea! I first tasted it at the coffee shop I frequent in Washington DC (Baked & Wired). I have been ordering it ever since then. It's purely hibiscus or hibiscus and mint (My favorite!) and the owners are wonderful to deal with!

I used to buy this tea from the farmers market, but never again. It used to be $5 a box with a free glass of tea, which is $5 without the box of tea. The price has now been raised to $6 a box and half off a glass of tea ($2.50).

I drank it all the time in Austin and now that I'm in Denver I order it because they don't sell it here. Wonderful tea!

I first started drinking it to lower my high blood pressure and for it's other health benefits (high in Vitamin C, proven to lower both high Blood Pressure and Cholesterol etc.) I purchase it at the Farmers Market but you can also order it online. Today my friend Sarah brought me a glass of their Mango Hibiscus Tea and it was so sweet and delicious I had to go back to their booth to inquire about it. The guy running the booth said it was a blend of their brewed Hibiscus Tea mixed with white
