Theit hours state mon to fri 10 am to 8 pm. I arrived a few minutes ago at 7:45
Open sign is glowing OPEN but
door is locked. I phoned and the desk girl I can see through the front door says she takes her last customer at 7:45. I said ok is 7:45 please let me in. I am loyal good paying custmer and I expect better than this. I am not happy. Advice HB Tanning: If you promote and promise certain hours than please stand by what you sell.

Long overdue!
I really REALLY like this place. Bring someone that spray tans several times throughout the year. This will be my third time here.
Straight to the point- here are my thoughts:
The atmosphere is local HB. Very laid back and not a lot of fluff.
The staff- absolutely amazing every single encounter
The price- you probably won't find any lower in the surrounding area!
The spray tan- 7.5/10 (I've had small flaws every time. Ex- streak on one of my legs on the inside. Something like that
You can find a 10 in the area but it will cost you 3x what you'll pay here and

I bought a Groupon for this place and have gone there before Covid shut the business down for tanning and the infrared sauna. I still am owed two more sessions, however the owner/manger will not honor them because the Groupon expired. When I called to ask about the sessions the owner or manger was extremely rude and yelled at me. Small businesses at this time should honor the specials that they offered. She said they were expired. Unbelievable her attitude:( I will never go back to HB tanning. Be weary of the Groupons and the dirty beds and sauna. There are so many other options for these

The last year or two I "tanned" there (purely out of location convenience only) I never seemed to get very dark, or even moderately dark. Even though the bulbs lit up they didn't darken my skin. As soon as I went to another salon, I stated getting very dark, great!! So, just because the bubls light up (always after flickering), doesn't mean that they are well maintained or top quality tanning bulbs.

After checking out many different “chain” tanning salons that tried to manipulate me into a pricy monthly membership, I found this wonderful place. The prices are reasonable, there is no pressure to buy a pricier tanning package or any of their products. They simply explain the benefits of each one. The beds are clean and the staff has always been very friendly.

Quality of beds = 5 stars. 2 stars because you can never count on the staff to be there. The staff often closes down earlier than their posted hours and they'll just stare at you through the door while you point to a sign that has the correct closing time. I'll be paying more $$ to go somewhere more dependable after this package runs out.
Update to 4 stars: I went back and a woman (who I think is the owner) is always there, they stay open until the posted closing time, and she's one of the friendliest/thoughtful people I've ever had at a tanning salon! Thank you!

Super convenient location, very friendly and outgoing staff. Was welcomed immediately and they worked quickly to get the sunless tanning booth prepared for me. The room was clean and I had all of the supplies available if needed (towel, hair mask, lotion etc). Three stars for that!
Now I've done spray tanning about a dozen times or so. But this spraying was SO strong I held my breath to avoid breathing in the stuff. Making my escape, I could barely open the doorknob since my hands were so slippery from the anti tanning lotion! Feeling lightheaded, I fell to the floor and kicked the door

This is my favorite tanning place I've ever been to! They have the best prices I've ever seen. The beds and rooms are always super clean and they provide baby wipes and hair ties. I always use the restroom to wash lotion off my hands after tanning and it's been spotless every time. They have a great selection of lotions at a range of prices. I pull great color from the beds. I've never had to wait more than like 2 minutes. The employees are all super sweet and not pushy at all! I highly highly recommend HB Tanning.

Today was my 2nd day of tanning here. I'm not sure how to spell her name but MyLinda has been very helpful for both my visits !! It's a very clean tanning salon and I've been in several different locations for years. I'm using the stand up bed and wow
I'm getting great results after just two visits !!

Stopped by this little gem of a business after reading a few reviews, and I am really glad I did!! Jennifer was so pleasant and knowledgeable!! She really took the time to answer all my newbie questions and was able to point me in the right direction for my needs.. I really enjoy the red light therapy and noticed an improvement in my skin after just a few treatments.. I love this place and recommend it to all my friends and family.. the facility is always very clean and equipment is top notch! Prices can't be beat either!! Highly recommended!!

Great place i always come to. Very good prices and a variety different level beds as well as spray tan. Clean and staff is always friendly.The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is because the spray tan booth doesn't give you directions of when to turn as every other place i have been to does. Even though i have came here a lot i still always forget dont remember until its almost done. A big plus however is you only have to wait 2 hrs to shower as opposed to 4-8 like other spots.

Only reason for NOT getting 5 stars: I purchased a bottle of lotion during one of their promos 'Buy 1 bottle of lotion and get ANY 2 tans FREE' - didn't seem to be the case initially because I tried to redeem the tans at my next visit and she couldn't find any free tans on my account and when she did let me tan she tried to get me to tan in the bed I used the previous visit but it said ANY tan so I wanted to use the better bed, she did and was nice about it. I then went to tan again about 3 weeks later and this time she couldn't find any free tans again, so I had to explain

I love tanning. I would say I am an experienced tanner. Being 1/2 Mexican SoCal cali kid my whole life one would think I would bronze beautifully, and so easily. NopE! Takes way to long, and a downfall is mine is I lack patience. So I tan away in the "fake n bakes".
HB Tanning has several name brand options for lotions at a very reasonable price. Much cheaper than other locations I've been too. So this is a huge plus. They don't "get ya" with the cost of lotions.

It's located in the corner of the front of the plaza on Brookhurst and Adams (around the corner from Joanns). It's small, but clean. At the front, there's different tanning products you can purchase and a few chairs to sit in if you have to wait. There's about 10 booths. There's also a bathroom towards the back of the store, which also includes wipes and deodorant for you to freshen up.
