Purdy-McGuire is a consulting engineering firm that offers a full range of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering as well as LEED and sustainability services.

For over 60 years, we have partnered with architectural firms, developers, and general contractors to provide MEP services for our diverse portfolio which includes projects for education (higher ed and K-12), commercial buildings, medical office, national retail, churches, government, master planning, energy modeling, feasibility studies, municipal, and garages/parking structures.

We provide award-winning mechanical and electrical engineering and plumbing design and have done so for decades. Sustainability? All of our buildings are designed to be LEED compliant, so though the client may not be ready to pursue LEED at the project's start if they decide to pursue certification at a future date, the building's MEP systems won't require such extensive rework in order to get LEED points.

At Purdy-McGuire, we do believe in having fun. Our engineers, designers, and support staff work nonstop - pushing toward client deadlines. So when it's time to exhale, we make sure we do that. Our office is multigenerational, and employee tenures range from less than one year to over 30 years. Halloween is a special time in our office.

Camille joined Purdy-McGuire in 2007, and joined the leadership team when our CEO of 55 years retired. Throughout her tenure at PMI, she has managed multi-million dollar projects in multiple market segments. She enjoys getting to know the project teams and interacting with clients. Like all PMI leaders, she is very hands-on.

The software provides a virtual environment of the building with architectural and structural models to improve coordination throughout design. Systems can be arranged through clash detection providing a more cohesive design leading into the construction of a project. A method has been developed to quickly create documentation that is now used by other design firms.
