The BEAR Implant is a proprietary bio-engineered implant used to facilitate healing of the torn ACL. We have submitted our annual certification to the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), acknowledging that our policies are consistent with the voluntary AdvaMed Code of Ethics on interactions with U.S. Health Care Professionals.
Services
The BEAR Implant is indicated for skeletally mature patients at least 14 years of age with a complete rupture of the ACL, as confirmed by MRI. Patients must have an ACL stump attached to the tibia to construct the repair. The BEAR device must be implanted within 50 days of injury. Be sure to discuss your individual symptoms, diagnosis and treatment with your surgeon.
