Very rude, had wedding dress for 3 months. Back of dress at least 2 inches shorter than front, was advised by the seamstress it was because I moved too much. I was reimbursed for the alterations and dress, the seamstress were completely unprofessional and not empathetic about the dress. I was blamed for being on my menstrual cycle and being bloated because they took too much in. Every error was my fault even though I don’t sew.

Superior Sewing did an amazing job with my wedding dress! After delays due to covid, I received my dress one month before my wedding. Superior Sewing agreed to do my alterations in the midst of prom season and with a time crunch too.
After going in for my first appointment, it was apparent my dress needed more extensive alterations than originally thought. They didn't shy away from the challenge! They added in more appointments for me and got the job done perfectly. I highly recommend superior sewing!

The ladies here have become some of my favorite people. Three generations of women sewing together. Diane is a wizard and often sews on a vintage sewing machine. Everyone there is WONDERFUL AND KIND. I feel so loved, supported, and treated so well. They are priced affordably for their level of skill and experience. I have taken everything from tshirts and skirts to my wedding dress to them.
These are the types of people that remind me why the Midwest is incredible. They're salt of the earth folks, honest, hardworking, TALENTED and so loving and kind.

I went to Superior Sewing for my wedding dress alteration. I was scheduled to pick up my dress for my wedding in December. When I showed up for my appointment, they told me my dress was not ready and would not be ready in time. Luckily, covid allowed me to do a delayed reception where I will get to wear my dress. Unluckily, when I went to pick up my dress in April, it did not fit properly, bunching in the back. They also did my bustle with big white buttons that clashed with the color of my dress. When my mom raised the concern the comment was made “to photoshop it if I didn’t like it.” We

I just left a consultation and couldn’t be more impressed by the quality of service I received! The sewing studio was neat. The ladies were friendly, welcoming, and professional. I felt comfortable the entire time. The ladies were helpful in recommending undergarments to best fit my body and the dress, and in the end, it was determined no alterations were needed and that I needed to purchase a better fitting bra. I will be recommending to any friend that is looking for any tailoring.

Choosing Superior Sewing for my wedding dress alterations was definitely one of the best decisions I made. I had a more elaborate ceremony gown as well as a simple reception dress. I was so impressed with their turnaround time. I thought I'd need several appointments but they were able to get everything done in about a month. I really appreciated the recommendation I received to swap my shoes as the original shoes I had selected had a ton of rhinestones and were going to snag my dress. They were able to take me in on a weekend once I had the right shoes and still finished everything on time

I was short on time for my wedding dress alterations. When I called for an appointment, they got me in quickly. I was impressed with the customer service I received while I was there. I had ordered my dress online and had gotten custom sizing. I thought it could still be tailored a bit more for my liking. Well, Wendy pointed out if I went any smaller around the hips, it would make it difficult sit down during my reception. I agreed. She didn’t try and sell me alterations I didn’t need. I ended up just getting my dress bustled and in a timely manner.

They are knowledgeable and friendly, and talked me through every step of the process, answering all my questions and giving great advice. I went to Superior Sewing to alter my wedding dress in 2016.
Pros: They did an excellent job altering the length of the dress, taking out the hip as well as adding the bussell! I also really liked the ladies, they were fun to work with!
Cons: They had me return multiple times for the alterations, which seemed excessive.
I was also frustrated that they pushed me to wear a bra under it, when that really was not what I was wanting
Most importantly, I was disappointed that my dress gathered terribly under my bust. I even asked them to take a look and it was still not fixed for the wedding. For
