For those who need access to Healthcare and Medical Facilities, we offer reliable Non-emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). Medstar Transportation provides private transport services or the use of vehicles where riders can freely decide the time and route of transit.

Services
Since 1984, Medstar has provided professional on-demand non-emergent transportation services throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our long-established and well respected service started as door-to-door, which means we escort our passengers to and from our vehicles when the requested destination is reached.
We provide full training for each type of service we provide. In addition to on-hands training we provide continued coaching and monitoring of the success of each team member. Client called to commend Connie for her excellent driving, safe and easy route and helpful behavior. Natasha Edwards, stated that Dan was an awesome driver, even with her daughters in the back singing away, he was really nice individual.
Make around $14.50-19/ hour depending on the service type and location PLUS incentives and bonuses! We provide the training for passenger assistance, safety and accessibility. You have the flexibility to provide many different services, including wheelchair accessible service and fixed route bus service.

Apparently the VA No longer has a contract through the transportation company we’ve used a handful of times So when I called Medstar this morning to confirm the ride I was on hold off and on for 40 min, they couldn’t find the scheduled ride. They finally found the ride and assured me that they’d show up at the scheduled time. They never showed. I will definitely use their services again, if ever needed! November 6th 2019, I was in a panic to get to an appointment for a fractured fibula because my ride had cancelled. Fortunately, Justin was able to accommodate my request through the chat option on the website.
Jasmine was a very friendly driver & Liz assisted me on the phone with payment & my return ride.
Everyone was so helpful in my time of need & I appreciate the incredible service I received!
**Update** I forgot to mention, they helped me in Everett, WA! (Even though it shows eastern Washington on Google Maps.)

When I made the reservation I was told that the driver would be able to sign me out of the medical facility following outpatient surgery. The nursing staff at the facility were told the same thing when they called to confirm that my ride was coming. The driver flatly refused to sign anything, insisting that she wasn't a nurse. We explained that we didn't need a nurse, just a person to verify that I wasn't driving myself home after being anesthetized. I ultimately had to sign myself out and make a note that I wasn't driving. I don't know if the person taking the reservation was confused or the driver

Don't waste your money. It's always something with this business. Needs better management, one person told me they were the office manager the next I'm getting transferred to another. Like who is in charge? Anyways they had my grandmother waiting for over an hour especially that we paid out of pocket. They lost my business. Hopefully this help you guys out there make a decision on who to choose for transportation. Definitely thumbs down with medstar in my opinion.
