Eastern Slope Camping Area is proud to offer kayak and boat rentals for the enjoyment of our guests. Our 7.5 mile trip provides 3-4 hours of paddling time, depending on river conditions and the amount of stops made. Leisurely paddling down the clear waters of the Saco River, occasionally stopping at the many sandy beaches for a picnic and a swim or to enjoy the natural beauty of the location.
DEPOSITS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: A prepayment of four (4) days fee is required at time of booking (full prepayment if reservation is less than 4 days). Balance is due at check-in. When reserving the same site or cabin for the following year during your current stay, a 3 night deposit is required for each week and no other payment is due until the day of check-in.
Our Cozy Cabin Village has five beautiful cedar wood cabins. Located near the pool, they are extremely popular with families and are a great choice for your family camping vacation. Each cabin can accommodate 2 adults (18 and over) and 2 children (17 and under) comfortably. Sorry, no overnight guests or pets.

Just finishing our stay here. I will state now, that we didn't use the bathrooms as we were on a "full hookup" site.
Our pull through site is very nice. Compact. But, we aren't on top of our neighbors.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. And the campground is in a central location to the bevy of activities and sights to take in.
Stuff for the kids to do. Their roads are a bit bumpy. But, that tends to keep the idiots from driving too fast.
The camp store could do with a few more camping provisions.

This is by far our favorite campground. We brought our children here years ago and it was always a great time. We recently purchased a small couples trailer and started camping again. Our first trip was to Eastern Slopes and it was as good as ever. The staff even helped us with some trailer problems we were having. In the last 2 years we've visited quite a few different campgrounds but Eastern Slopes is by far the best. You can leave and go sight seeing nearby, then when you get back there is still so much to do at the campground. The river is the best part. We like to float from beach 1 to beach

Went for the dump station and payed $39.99 for it and it they didn't even have potable or flush water. I was expecting a lot more for that fee. We have been full time for 2 years and have dumped at several hundred places and have never seen dump fees over $20 and most average about $10. Overall the camp needs some TLC.

Loved being on the Saco River! The water was refreshing, jumping off the tree into the river was exhilarating! Wish you could rent tubes there, had to buy cheap $10 ones (they have more expensive tubes, but didn't want to invest a small fortune into floats).
Location was perfect for getting to Mt Chocorua (main reason we camped here) and Conway!
I didn't experience the bathroom situation as we had an RV.

Hi Everyone! I stayed at this campground from 8/9/21 to 8/13/21. I am giving the campground 3 stars because of some issues. One, the bathrooms were absolutely dirty, this is bathroom number 3. Bugs and cobwebs in the toilet and shower areas. For a day the women's side had NO toilet paper so this is how we know it was definitely not cleaned daily. Plus, with the Delta variant running rampant the bathrooms should have been cleaned a lot. In the showers the drain was loose in both showers on the men's side and the floors were a mix of cement and broken/ missing tile covered with a rubber mat, maintenance

Will not be camping here again. There is ZERO privacy on these sites, no woods or trees between your neighbors, you literally camp with strangers. The bathrooms were disgusting and half the time they didn't even have TP in the stalls. The canopies on the sites are all rotted away and have holes and wasps everywhere, and two of our campsites didn't have fire pits! How do you have a camp site with no fire pit? The most annoying part had to be how unorganized the office is. They called me three times BEFORE my visit to reconfirm the people that were going and who needed shuttles, and when I arrived

First time camping at Eastern slopes campground. I definitely recommend this campground. People are very friendly and the owners are very accommodating. Great customer service. Already booked again for our stay in July
Campground is clean , nice and quiet after 10, plenty for the kids and adults to do. Both river beaches are amazing, pool too. Relaxing.

Today i choose to float the saco, unfortunately 2 of the tubes burst during the float, due to the water being low. Which as we all know if you have ever floated before, unexpected issues happen. It is also part of life. We were forced to come to an immediate stop! We got off in an unscheduled area. It was eastern slope camp ground. I was with 3 children and 3 adults. We gathered as much of our stuff as we could and tried to condense it. Two of our children walked ahead. If you have children then im sure you know, aunt/uncle, or parent this happens. I left them with the deflated floats, told them

Made reservations months ago. Most places allow a deposit, not here. I had to pay in full at time of booking. 2 days prior to our reservation, there was a death in the family. I called and asked about a refund and was kindly told to reply back to the booking reservation that was emailed to me and put "cancellation" in the subject line.
I asked if anything else was needed and was told no.
Later that day my email was responded to with a "sorry for your loss but since we are unable to fill your site, we can not refund you".
I would have been fine with a credit or partial reimbursement
