Our company developed from a vision of a better world. Immersed in the construction industry, Michael Chadek, founder of Gem State Solar, believed that there were smarter, more sustainable ways to build and to renovate. He discovered that relatively simple devices that place little or no burden on the earth and its resources could outcompete conventional systems in both performance and cost savings.
From that point on, it was all common sense. Michael decided to spread the word and Gem State Solar was born. We were so impressed with Austin John of Gem State Solar. We had been thinking about doing something to help with our HOT bonus room, and had been looking online for someone to help with that. You are always taking a chance when you hire someone, but we had read some good reviews and decided to take a chance.
Austin was a gem. He was pleasant to work with and really knew his stuff. He explained how a solar fan would work and that it would definitely help the bonus room stay cooler. But, he also discovered that we had no insulation in the part of our attic that was directly over the bonus room
