I have worked in geriatrics for 10 years and health care for 30 years and I can say I am blown away by the incredible care at Wadsworth Glen for my mom. Her aide Frouta is the most compassionate caring woman. Dorothy is a wonderful nurse. The whole rehab team goes above and beyond and respond compassionately to my advocacy and millions of questions. The chef, the dietician, the social worker Lynn at the front desk just so kind. I am so thankful and my mom is very comfortable there

This was the worst place. they dont care about their patients at all. they don't listen when they say a family member is sick and needs a hospital . it took them numerous calls and a lawyer threat to finally get the patient out of there to a hospital which when patient had extremely high blood pressure and had a seizure and had high co2 levels. patient is still in hospital. reporting to the state of ct and Medicare. dont send anyone here. cant post without a star they dont deserve this star but only way I can post.

I believe that Wadsworth Glen Health Care and Rehabilitation Center is the best place in the Middletown area. It was not possible for us to visit
our loved one in the first two weeks due to restrictions related to COVID-19. The social worker was in constant communication with us and was actively working on our case. The nursing staff was knowledgeable and familiar with the course of treatment. They were able to inform me of any changes and provide updates on the condition and plan of care. I felt that my family member was truly cared for. I have not experienced this level of attentiveness in other

If I could give a negative star I would because I wouldn’t want someone else going there. This was during covid where no one could have visitors.
1. They dismissed what I said to them about my mother and said it was just her behavior. She wasn’t feeling well and they made her wait 2 hours to call for an ambulance.
2. The nurses there are horrible I spoke with Sandy and even the first day she had a nasty attitude towards me. I spoke to her several times and said to her there was no need to get snotty. Knowing she could be this way towards me I’m sure she is like this at

I put two stars because I can’t comment about the treatment my uncle got when he was there, I don’t know whether it was good or bad. The reason why he can’t tell me whether this place was good or bad is because he contracted COVID-19 from a careless employee and ended up dying from it. He went to this place, immediately got it, and had to go to the main hospital not long after. Think about if this is the place you would like your loved ones to go to.

Quality of care is awful! Some Nurses don't speak good English and are hard to understand. Never enough cna's to cover residents. Always understaffed. Some work doubles, you know they are tired so your residents are not getting good care. They put on a diaper and forget you. They are not caring and waste patients personal supplies. Facility keeps running out of supplies and food. Food is good, but very repetitious. Dinners are mostly sandwiches. Need a better menu.If you complain to management, most of the time they talk, but nothing gets resolved. Facility looks clean and does not smell. Place
