Barker's Junk co. has been a family owned business for over 50 years. The business was originally started in Rhodell West Virginia in the early 50's by Fred Barker. In the mid 50's his son Ronnie Barker joined the business after getting out of the service. In 1961 they purchased a second yard in Mabscott, WV which is where we operate today.
Ronnie ran the Mabscott location while Fred ran the Rhodell location after Fred's passing in the 1970's the Rhodell yard was closed and all material and equipment moved to Mabscott. Ronnie ran the company until his passing in 2009. After his passing his daughter Brenda Mooney who had worked with the company for 38 years became president.

Barkers Junk offer Rolloff containers, or trailers to industrial accounts, individuals, demo sites or just a one time clean up. We also do site cleanup from preparation of material to removal with a full crew of well trained employees. We also offer mobile baling for automobiles tin and white goods we will bring our portable sierra baler to your location bale your material and move away properly.
We offer 20,30,a nd 40 yard rolloff containers for industrial accounts, demo sites, or just a one time cleanup we are also offer 40 ft trailer for really big jobs. We offer rollback service for machinery transport and box trailers for non ferrous commercial customers. We also do site cleanup from preparation of material to removal with a full crew of well trained employees.

The secretary Amanda, is the most rude woman I have EVER encountered in my life. She was hiding upstairs in the office. I simply knocked on the door and yelled hello anyone there? She came storming down the stairs with a terrible nasty attitude said she had 1000 other things going on. There is absolutely no one here. All the yard workers are sitting around smoking cigs and my husband and I were the only customers here. The foreman Henry was very helpful and went above and beyond to help accommodate my husband and myself but the secretary Amanda was absolutely horrid. She really does not need to

Faster today then normal. Not best setup for weighing in/off loading. Everytime I go here I hope they don't have 1 of their trucks loading because unlike most junkyards I've been to where if loads are coming in they move their trucks out of the way to get more loads of metal in. This company will make you wait for several hours at times while they load trucks to haul metal away even if your in line waiting before a truck shows up to haul a load out. Woman behind counter typically has an attitude towards those with trailers.

One of their dumpster truck drivers had a mobile mechanic working on him at a rest area on the 64 east and when they got done just drove off and left a bunch of trash on the ground reall nice company representation that driver displays....This is all we see out on the road anymore and it’s pretty sad. Make America Great Again begins with every one of us.

We used these guys for a recent multi week recycling project in White Sulphur Springs. Cody responded promptly to our initial request for help and offered a fair price with no BS. Cody responded to all emails and phone calls promptly and also provided timely pickups and drop offs. He was very flexible in working with our schedule.
I do not usually write reviews, however I was very impressed with the customer service. I highly recommend Cody and Barkers. We will use them again if we ever have another project in the area. Thanks again for all of your help.
