Dr. Urban has been practicing Chiropractic for over 28 years now. Dr. Urban is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa (1991). He has built and maintained successful Chiropractic practices in Nebraska, Colorado and now in Hawaii on the beautiful island of Maui in Kahului. Dr. Urban is proficient in the "GONSTEAD" art form of adjusting the spine.
I sought Dr. Urban's help after our recent move to Maui. I selected him because he is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. I knew Palmer College to be legitimate and felt that not knowing any doctors on Maui this was the one thing I had to go by in choosing a doctor. However, having said that, I never realized the difference an individual doctor could make!
When you meet Dr. Urban, he will discuss all your health concerns with you to help determine the best course of care. Next, Dr. Urban will perform two different skin temperature tests. The first is using the "Tytron Thermography". This instrument records temperature readings on both sides of the spine.
Chiropractor, Dr. James Urban, will review your x-ray findings, answer any additional questions you may have and discuss your current health care goals. The visit will generally take about 30 minutes. A treatment plan with follow-up visits will be determined based on your goals and the outcome you desire.
Now that you and Chiropractor, Dr. James Urban have determined an appropriate course of care to help meet your health goals, follow-up visits are necessary/appropriate to effectively monitor your care. Follow-up visits are fairly quick, only taking a few minutes. So, your wait times are generally at a minimum.

Dr. Urban is legit the answer to my prayers!! I was scheduled by my Kaiser doctor for a surgery due to having a pinch nerve on the back of my neck from sports. I was looking for a second option online and came across Dr. Urban and boy I was so blessed because he adjusted my spine without surgery. I was told by my doctor, once you touch the disc on your spine, there would be another in a few years and onward, that’s why I searched for another option for my pinch nerve because I don’t want that. This is my honest review and I feel great after seeing Dr. Urban and I bet you will too!! Thank you

I had terrible pain in my lower back. I had a hard time walking. I didn't think I would be able to go on a trip to japan. My wife and daughter was being treated by Dr. Urban and recommended him. After couple of sessions I'm standing upright and walking again. I do regular maintenance and Dr. Urban got rid of my headaches and dizzyness.

I went to Dr. Urban for a spinal adjustment, back pain, neck pain, and migraines. After a few sessions, I feel close to a 100% myself again. I recommend Dr. Urban for anyone who is experiencing any of the same problems I had, whether it is minor or major. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and will try any alternatives before suggesting surgery. I will definitely be a long term patient of his!

Dr. Urban is the chiropractor you need to go see for an adjustment...seriously! If you're looking for a thorough and careful treatment of your spine, he's the one. From your first initial visit, you'll already feel like you don't need to waste your time with anyone else. He has you get X-rays and reviews them with you, shows you on the spine models of what your spine is doing and what it's supposed to look like. I have been carrying this back pain for years thinking it just needs to get massaged out, but it never worked. I finally told my doctor about the back pain and he recommended chiropractic

Dr. Urban is the best chiropractor I've ever been to. I've suffered with neck pain my whole life and lower back pain for many years. I've been to many of the standard twist and crack chiropractors who treat every patient the same. Dr. Urban is nothing like that. Not only is each patient unique, but each visit is unique too.
