As it stands now, LMi owes me money for time worked. They withheld money for an HSA account they did not set up, and have not reimbursed me for the contributions withheld from my pay.
When I was hired on Aubree asked if I needed a PC or Mac to complete my work, and I answered Mac. A month later I received a PC. It was a pretty lightweight computer and I had a lot of trouble running photoshop. A few days in I also noticed that it would crash or restart a few times a day. I brought this to managements attention and was told "this is what everyone uses without issue".

When changing marketing companies it creates a lot of anxiety trying to interview with prospective companies, and hoping your make the right decision when you make a change. We interviewed a number of companies, but decided to meet personally with Local Marketing Inc. or LMI as they call themselves. We interviewed with LMI three to four times; and two of those the times the Director of Marketing personally flew in to meet with us. She made us very comfortable in knowing we had made the right decision in choosing LMI to take over our Digital Marketing.

Majority owner is shady af. Lawsuits abound!
You are a "1099 contractor" but have to work like an employee. People who are hired to do creative work are given office manager duties. The owner is clueless and keeps hiring imbeciles as managers over people who are more qualified. Those managers than tell the teams idiot tactics that don't work and blames the people he manages when he fails. Owner ends people's contracts without notice and lies about everything benefits, titles, contracts, etc

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! Scam artists to say the least. Been waiting for over a month for a refund. One person inside the company has been helpful throughout the process but the rest are a joke. Take a credit card to hold on file and then will not refund what they owe, even when the company admits they made an accounting error. And before they come back with a reply that I have not done business with them, I have from January through July 2018. NO ONE ELSE MAKE THE MISTAKE THAT I HAVE! Ridiculous. Do not hold up their end of the bargain on Marketing efforts either. STAY AWAY!

Local Marketing Inc. is a great place to work great team environment. Owners really know how to take care of their employees and back them. Just like any other relationship trust is a big part you earn their trust when you do what you are supposed to do. Also the customer service is second to none clients know exactly what they are going to get and when to expect it. Communication and transparency is very important and sole focus is on the client. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend people to work there or clients to talk to them.
