Our fourteen unique and historical cabins and buildings are ready for your next vacation or event. Beautiful place with a ton of history and passionate owners. The cabins are gorgeous and are made spotless before your arrival. Lots of places to walk and hike, plenty of firewood to make camp fires, and amazing scenery.
Last spring, when my husband suggested we become part of the Hipcamp community, I admit I was skeptical. Glen Isle had always been an exclusive resort for lodging vacationers. However, this past May, when our campers started to arrive, I learned quickly how right he was and how wonderful the camping community really is!
Baskets have arrived and will be installed over next couple of weeks at the historic Glen-Isle Resort LLC - Bailey, CO. The challenging course will have have 24 holes on the mountain course. Cabins and camping will be available on site. We will begin updating our website with a DGC page ASAP. Looking forward to being a part of this exciting community!

I have been coming to Glen Isle since I was a kid. In fact, 5 generation of my family have enjoyed and loved this place. This trip with my husband was no different. Being back here, I immediately reverted to my 12 yr old self while I got to show him all of the magical things about Glen Isle. Our cabin was cozy and relaxing, the grounds were well kept and the point still have the most breathtaking views. Brenda, Mary Ruth and Greg were such fantastic hosts. I can't wait to come back- we are looking at the summer!! <3

Mary Ruth, Greg, and Brenda are amazing people. We had our wedding here and it exceeded expectations. They were so well organized and welcomed all our guests with smiles and excitement. If you're looking to have a wedding here, please know that they will let you be but will also be close by should you need them. I highly recommend this resort if you're a DIY couple. There's a bit a magic that will happen, so get ready. Thank you so much!!! Drew and I hope to stay again, just us, for a weekend sometime.

I absolutely love it here. The cabin we stayed in was adorable and so comfortable. The view we had out of our front window was a small creek, absolutely gorgeous. The property is amazing, so much fun to hike around and explore. The history behind Glen Isle is so interesting, and Mary Ruth really helped to bring it alive for us!!!! Cannot wait to go back ❤️

Beautiful place with a ton of history and passionate owners. The cabins are gorgeous and are made spotless before your arrival. Lots of places to walk and hike, plenty of firewood to make camp fires, and amazing scenery. Very relaxing. Be warned, there's little cellphone reception on the area, so you'll want to figure out how to communicate through the internet (I'd suggest something like Discord). If you can, go by the lodge and ask for a tour. There is a lot of history to explore there, and it's a must for anyone interested in archeology, Native American culture, or victorian era design.

I love the energy surrounding this resort! The history is felt throughout the buildings and a vortex of positive vibes surround this hidden Gem! Everyone is helpful and friendly. I go to just hike around the rivers. On the weekends there's a chuck wagon serving all day breakfast and lunch, God bless the chef Trent I think is his name, making everything to order with a smile! Thank you guys for all you do at glen isle!

Mary Ruth and Greg Vincent have wonderfully refurbished this beautiful mountain getaway. They bent over backwards to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. The facilities are refurbished with amazing rustic furniture, restroom facilities are very high end. The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Such sweet folks. I highly recommend this mountain retreat. We will be back!

My wife and I camped here with our two dogs for a quick weekend getaway and we had a great time! The lodge has that authentic historical feel, and the campsites are well distributed, with fire pits and picnic tables at each site, and a shared portable toilet in a common area. And don't miss the sunset at the lookout point! Greg and Mary Ruth were very hospitable and are really making this place shine. We will definitely come back. Maybe next time we'll stay in one of the cabins!

We had such a great weekend with MaryRuth Vincent and Greg Vincent at Glen Isle Resort in Bailey Co. If you want a great long weekend or even more you need to visit. The views are amazing and the history goes back into the late 1800's and is site to see. They have done such an excellent job renovating this resort and keeping the history alive! We stayed in Evergreen and it was a great 2 bedroom 1 bath cabin with full kitchen and and great back patio with Hot tub! We can't wait to go back and visit again it was such a beautiful place!!

Imagine harkening back to the good ole days of camping vacations with the family and being able to recreate what you may (or may not) have experienced as a kid. Times have certainly changed but Glen Isle Resort offers a unique opportunity to step back in time. With cabins that have just what you need without spoiling the essence of cabin life, the Platte River coursing through, foosball, ping pong, 8 ball pool and a crackling campfire at night, this hip camp is a real jewel that offers the chance to create long-lasting memories.

Glen Isle is one of my favorite places. The history is preserved and respected, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchens are nice and clean. My family loves to play Ping Pong in the Rec room and my husband and I love to enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch if the cabin. The Lodge is like museum, it's fascinating. The owners are "Salt of the earth" people- wonderful.

As very inexperienced campers, my boyfriend and I had no idea what to expect when crossing the bridge into the Glen Isle resort. However, when we finally packed up and left the next morning, we could not have been more happy or satisfied with our stay. At the lodge we were greeted by Brenda, who soon took us to our camping site and gave us a little tour of the surrounding wilderness and lookouts. Our campsite could not have been more picturesque, looking out to the wide open mountains and the river below us. Being inexperienced campers, my boyfriend and I forgot to check our tent we were borrowing

We attended a party at Glen Isle Resort and were able to tour a few of the cabins and the lodge. It is a true throw-back to camping that your parents did! The cabins are clean, cozy, and some have kitchens. Glen Isle is such a treasure trove of history with all of the collecting that previous owners did. Mary Ruth and Greg have really worked hard to make a perfect mountain retreat, close to hiking, fishing, etc. We would recommend it to anyone coming to the area!!

Glen Isle was the PERFECT getaway for my husband and I! We were far enough from civilization to feel like it was an escape. But close enough to go into town for groceries, or travel to Denver for some fun on the weekend. PERFECT!
The cabin was spacious, and the views were peaceful. The owners, Mary Ruth and Greg, really respect the history of this place and it's surroundings. It's very apparent that their hearts and souls are in Glen Isle and they were the most welcoming hosts. They mix a little modern in with their renovations, but keep the rustic charm that Glen Isle has offered for

The new owners have done a phenomenal job revamping the cabins at Glen Isle! The beds were amazingly comfortable, the decor and accommodations are quaint yet modernized. The look and smell of pine when you walk in brings you back to another time when life was restful and relaxing!

These are plain cabins with fireplaces, stove, frig and bath in a beautiful setting. There are no TV's or WiFi. The lovely, quiet setting with trails, high pines and bubbling Platte River is a great place for natural beauty, fresh air and enjoying nature. This is not high end with lots of frills. It is a place with a fascinating history and I have enjoyed coming here for many years as a retreat to nature.

Um, No. I can't recommend this place to anybody. I mean I stayed there with about 12 of some of the nicest people that I had ever just met and had a great time because of the company, but that was in spite of the accomodations. I think 20 years ago it may have been called quaint but it has slipped beyond that. If for some unthinkable reason you decide to stay there and there is snow on the road to your cabin, avoid at all costs the lower side of the road. It took took five of us and a Nissan 4-wheel drive to extract a friend's four-wheel drive from the deep ditch on the side of the road
