Rubenzahl, Knudsen and Associates Psychological Services, PC is a professional corporation jointly owned by two psychologists: Samuel Rubenzahl, Ph. D. and Thomas E. Knudsen, Psy. D., ABPP. We offer a variety of mental health services with 14 professionals. Our licensed staff include psychologists, therapeutic social workers, and mental health counselors.

Services
Psychotherapy, psychological testing for children and adolescents, & forensic consultation and assessment. D., is a New York State licensed psychologist. He earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Hamilton College in 1992. Dr. Rubenzahl was the Chief Psychologist and Coordinator of Children's Services at Lewis County Community Mental Health where he had worked from 1997 until he became a partner at RKA in 2009.
A: Insurance companies cover much of psychotherapy services. Our staff will be happy to work with you and the insurance company to determine how much is covered and for how long. A: Our staff will be up-to-date on the changes in healthcare to insure we can optmizie health insurance benefits. The recent "Mental Health Parity Laws" for New York are still be worked out, but seems to only help individual receive psychological care.
