Growing up in New York I had a very skeptical view of auto repair shops. But this garage has forced me to change. I live in California and had a condo in Florida to see East Coast family. When Covid happened I flew back to California and had not been to Florida or using my car for almost 2 years.
When a friend tried to drive the car it wouldn’t start. Long story short the car had to be towed and I chose at random this garage based on reviews. I was expecting to hear that they were all kinds of things wrong with the car which would be expensive.

After having been to many mechanics in my long life I must say that this company is THE best, that I have EVER experienced.
Matt and Dave are honest, reliable, trustworthy and even personable!
Plus their prices are measurably lower than anyone!
I brought my car in the morning... they had it ready in no time but let me pick it up when it was convenient for me.
I would highly! recommend them to anyone and will Never go anywhere else to have my care repaired! Thank you Matt and Dave!

My truck was sputtering and acting crazy, I called Arnst Automotive a very nice and sweet woman answered the phone she helped with scheduling and discussed everything accordingly. Dropped my truck off and I got a phone call the next morning, he gave me a couple of different options to fix my truck. I agreed and he performed the work. Picked up the truck with no problems, fast and quick service. TRUCK RUNS GREAT! My first interaction with their business was w/Becky - she's terrific! Told her we were looking for a shop that we could trust and wouldn't require a 2nd mortgage on our house. She immediately made me feel comfortable and that we were in the right spot.
When we arrived, Matt and his Dad (they're hilarious! ) gave us great info and tips about historical quirks with the car in general and they clearly LOVE cars. The classics in the bays are beautiful!

I was surprised by this place.. Matt, who took care of my issues is a pleasure to do business with and his father is great. The service was done on time and with care, I am a car fanatic, had my brakes/rotors replaced.. no scratches, no nicks on wheels.. and the car drove great.. I had an almost flat tire when I returned home from a week long business trip. I stopped by this shop and they plugged the tire in a few minutes. They were very professional and did not try to sell me other services. When my car needs service I will bring my car there for sure! Oh My Goodness! What? An auto mechanic you can actually trust? Yes, its true! Not only that, they are courteous, reasonable in pricing, helpful, efficient and, dare I say, a very funny family. (The funny antics in the office are just icing on an already great cake)
The entire staff at Arnst Automotive have been so pleasant to deal with when ever I have stopped in for service or the emergency screw in my tire (Don't you hate it when that happens). These guys are great! Like seriously. I randomly on a whim decided I needed my breaks done, I was sure they were ready to be replaced. I called thinking they'd want me to make an appointment for a different day, but they told me to come in right away and they'd fix me up. I went and left my car, they called me an hour later and told me my breaks were perfectly fine, but I did need new tires. They quoted me a great price and we had it done. I just love these guys. I've been coming here for years. Yesterday my car's electrical died while I was driving in it. Somehow I was able to drive to their shop even though my power steering was off and the car was barely responding to me. After looking at it all day yesterday they realized it was just a fuse blown. My husband went and picked up the car today and they did not even charge him. I know a blown fuse does not cost much money but they spent their time looking over the car and figuring out the problem. Having been attracted to this auto repair shop by previous Yelp reviews, I'd like to confirm what seems to be the reassuring consensus. Arnst Ocean treated me with efficiency, courtesy, and rectitude. They could have suggested an expensive diagnosis and fix for the ambiguously screechy serpentine belt problem. Instead, they stuck to an honest, simple and reasonably priced solution -- keep my serviceable belt in place and properly adjust its tightness. This establishment understands that treating customers honestly leads to repeat business and favorable recommendations to others.

Amazing service!!!! You can tell that Dave is an honest, hardworking businessman and the type of person I want to give my service to. I got my car serviced on Tuesday and today is Saturday and I received a 10 dollar gift card towards services for being a new customer! That was a nice touch to an already amazing experience!! I thought I needed a rear main seal. It turns out I did not I just had some stuff that was loose causing the oil leak. So they tightend everything up and washed the engine. A lot of mechanics would have took advantage of that but not this place. I thought I was going to need to spend $800 but luckily they do not rip you off here. Great shop, I will return here next time my car has a problem. Car ended up dieing a few monthes later so I took it here cause I knew I could trust them to fix my car and not try to rip me off. They did a great job fixing my car and the car has been running good ever since

I have been living in Delray my entire life and it's amazing that I have yet to find an auto repair shop that I can rely on until now. Mind you the car that needed repair is twice as old as I am, that's right its a classic which carries an entirely different set of care and requirements to get it fixed! Not only did they fix the car, I left with a sense that I actually got a great deal and developed a great relationship with the shop owner Dave, he and his entire staff were super friendly and super professional. Rest assured you will be worry free and they will only do what is required
