Services
Our doctors recognize that your pets are integral members of your family. Your veterinarian will provide prompt and personalized client/patient/doctor interactions and most importantly they will be as honest, informative and as open as possible while treating your pet. By taking the time to listen to your concerns and to communicate and educate you as to the best options available, they strive to foster the bond between you and your pets.
Your pet is an important part of your family, and when he or she is ill, you want the best medical care available. At CVAC we are able to provide medical services for dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, small mammals, small rodents, amphibians, fish and reptiles. Fur, scales or feathers - we see them all! The veterinarians and staff at our clinic are ready to provide your pet with cutting edge veterinary medical care.
We believe preventative care is the best approach for long term oral health. We recommend performing routine dental cleanings on your pet yearly. Our hospital is well equipped to provide dental care services to include dental prophylaxis or cleaning and polishing, tooth extractions, digital dental radiography, oral surgery and root canals.
There are many common orthopedic issues that can be helped or corrected by the surgical services offered by CVAC, and our primary orthopedic surgeon Dr. Alison Capitan. Orthopedic problems are those that involve bones, joints, ligaments and muscles. A thorough orthopedic exam, radiographs (x-rays), and specialized procedures may be required to make the diagnosis in these complex cases.
We know that when your pet is not feeling well you want answers and you want them quickly. Our talented and committed staff, combined with the most advanced diagnostic equipment, will help us to get to that diagnosis as quickly as possible. At CVAC you get the very best veterinary medicine all in one location saving you time and money and sparing your pet the wait for diagnosis and treatment.

I’ve been taking my Pug Jasmine, aka Jazzy, to College Village since she was 8 weeks old. She just turned 12 years old this past September. In the past 12 years, I’d say we made a trip to the vet 2-3 times a year. There has not been 1 time where I walked away not satisfied with the level of care Jasmine received. No matter which doctor was seeing her, I always walked away with confidence that Jasmine was being treated by a very knowledgeable, caring, supportive, and trustworthy staff. Best decision I made was choosing College Village Animal Clinic. I highly recommend them. You and your pet

Both dogs and parrots have been regulars at the College Village Animal Clinic for checkups and the occasional emergencies for over a decade! The admin staff, assistants, vet techs and veterinarians are family and have been so responsive and caring to our little non-human family members I can't say enough good things about them all!! Both Dr. Nicholson and Dr. Basler are magicians when it comes to cranky little parrots....
