Many patients are unaware that the important "core muscles" in your trunk, the muscles essential to supporting your body during any physical activity, consist of more than the abdominal six-pack. There is a complex group of muscles on every side of your trunk waiting for you to make them stronger.

Aquatic exercise is a valuable part of improving function and independence with life's activities. As part of our comprehensive approach to rehabilitation, our water-based program enables patients of all abilities to gain the benefits of exercise without excessive loading of painful joints.
A patient-specific exercise program that incorporates the qualities of buoyancy and resistance unique to an aquatic environment is directed toward individual functional goals set by the patient and therapist together.

After a lifetime of sports- related abuse, I finally got both of my knees fully replaced. Josh and Spine & Sport came highly recommended for post surgical rehab. After conducting a thorough evaluation, he recommended a course of treatment to get me back to enjoying the things I like to do. He and his encouraging assistant Cindy would work me out twice a week and after several weeks I was able to start back at the gym to continue my rehab. Josh and the staff at S&S are top notch - professional, personable and caring. I highly recommend Spine & Sport! (A photo of me shredding the slopes at Winter

Both Josh and JC were terrific in helping me recover from recent shoulder surgery. I have been to other several PT practices in the past, and felt like I was at a PT factory. The therapists at other practices work on up to 3 people at a time, give each patients 10 minutes or so of hands on work, then send you to do work on various machines without any supervision. Not so at Spine and Sports. JC and Josh work with you for more than half of your appointment, and when they have you do your workout on machines or floor exercises, they monitor you and supervise. I hope I never need PT again, but if

Spine and Sports Rehab has truly helped me to live an active and pain free life. Josh Renzi is a wealth of knowledge, is easy to talk to, and provides easy and straight forward home programming. Josh was also very willing to communicate with my other providers, so that I had a team who was all on the same page and working together. The staff has always been friendly and professional. I have been so pleased with the care I have received from Spine and Sports Rehab, and I would not hesitate to return for care in the future. I highly recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Several days before a three week trip to Europe, my husband somehow hurt his back so he had an incredibly difficult time walking. Alex Dragonut was highly recommended and saw him the next day. With just two visits, Alex had my husband almost pain free and saved our trip! Alex was amazing! Then two years later, I hurt my shoulder and Alex was able to treat me with that problem. Almost as soon as that cleared up, I too hurt my back several days before a trip to Maine. Of course I called Alex, he somehow fit me in and helped me so much I could easily travel. Exercises have been tailored to my specific

As an active 53 year old and after many years of pain I opted for multi-level spinal decompression surgery in March 2016 that left me with 4 sets of rods and screws in my back. I wanted to make sure I had to best possible plan and care to get me back to my new normal. JC and the team at Spine and Sport Rehabilitation Center in Owings Mills were highly recommended and have helped me get my sedentary self back into action again. Through manual muscle manipulation ( boy can JC find my trigger points), palates type exercises to strengthen and support my back and core, and ice and stim treatments, I

The folks at Spine and Sports are amazing - knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and just all around great people. They really know their stuff. I found the front staff to be very responsive, always on top of insurance, billing, scheduling, and reminder emails for appointments. The techs were lovely, keeping me on task and making sure I felt comfortable. I loved my PT, Cheryl. With her help I went from constant back pain to pain-free!
I really can't recommend this practice enough, I've already encouraged multiple friends to make appointments.

I have worked with two Spine and Sports physical therapists (my favorite PT, Lizzie, went on vacation and JC filled in) for 2 different problems over the past year. They have both focused on finding the source of the problem to be sure they are prescribing the right treatment. Not so of other PTs I've been to who rely more on masking the symptoms with electrostimulation. And it works. As long as you do your part at home. I have recommended them to my husband and son and neighbor. Now, back to those home exercises I should be doing...

Their PTs go through extra continuing education in manual therapy and are more qualified than most, and their focus on quality patient care is exceptional. Perfect for runners, recreational athletes, and back pain. This is their new location and it looks great! A little hard to find the entrance, which is at the back of the building on the lower level.

Best local option for physical therapy. Staff are well-informed on PT exercises, manual therapy, and more, with great bedside manner. I was especially happy that they let me keep riding my bike while they worked on old injuries! Just a few weeks have made a difference and I'm recommending the center to all of my friends.

Spine and Sports rehab is a really amazing place with GREAT therapists and staff. The facility is really nice and well set up with many different types of therapy machines and devices for the best rehab that one could get.
I have been going there for a back injury and have has JC as my therapist who has been wonderful and a wealth of knowledge. After going to one other place before I went to Spine and Sports I can say that I know the difference between okay and great and this place is great. I would highly recommend the team to anyone who needs physical therapy for any injury.
