Alzheimer's, dementia and memory care are often provided in a secure assisted living or nursing home setting, usually in a separate floor or wing. Residents may live in semi-private apartments or private rooms and have structured activities delivered by staff members trained specifically on caring for those with memory impairment.

Whether assistance is needed with bathing, dressing, or escorts, individuals and family members can be assured that the help they need is there 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
All six of us kids feel Boulder Creek is definitely the right place for our mother. You plan lots of fun and educational activities and just keep her all around happy. Upon our leaving after a visit, she seems ready and eager to roll right into your next planned activity. Mother did not spend the majority of her life prettying up her nails and her hair, but you help her in doing that.
Every day residents are offered three meals a day and an afternoon snack in the dining room. For breakfast, they have the option of a warm continental breakfast that includes eggs, a choice of meat, toast, cereal, muffins, etc. depending on the person's preference of what they enjoy for a morning meal.
In addition to providing assistance with activities of daily living; the staff in memory care is specially trained to assist people with dementia. Also, the physical layout and security of memory care is designed to better suit dementia patients, so that wandering behavior is minimized and the environment is pleasant and easy to navigate.

Our Mom gets excellent care at Boulder Creek. The staff is very kind and compassionate, the facility is beautiful and the daily activities keep the tenants engaged and very interactive - even during the pandemic we’ve been experiencing. We trust that Mom is in the best place possible for her needs. Thank you, Boulder Creek!
