Green Hauling was founded by Greg Wilhelm in 2006. We started off as a small business venture, but by focusing on excelling in customer service and by being on time, our customers really paid attention. We have expanded with word-of-mouth referrals and continue to keep a large base of repeat customers.

We specialize in office clean-outs, hoarder situations, and rental property turn-arounds. We know each job is different, and we are here to accommodate the job requirements including acquiring insurance bonds. Our team will efficiently haul debris from your office, warehouse, plant, storage space, rental property, or retail spaces.
We have a wide variety of dumpster sizes to handle almost anything you need to get rid of. Our debris boxes can handle whatever materials you have except paints, chemicals, pressurized containers, or hazardous materials. Our smallest debris boxes are 4 yd and 6.5 cubic yd containers for clean fill dirt, yard debris, rock or concrete boxes.
Renting a dumpster isn't a complicated process. You find a company that works, go to their website or pick up the phone, and within a day or two, a container gets dropped off within a day or two. But what if the size isn't what you expected? Trying to maneuver a huge, commercial dumpster around a cramped street or renting one too small could be an expensive mistake.

Lotsa 5* ratings...smaller jobs? The good: Clear estimate. Cheapest price. Polite. The bad: They knew job reqd multiple truck loads, but didn't arrange sufficient help or trucks. Started at 1pm. Stopped at 4pm. Filled truck. Couldn't return for 1 week. 2nd visit: Worked 1:30pm - 4:30pm. 2nd truck. Didn't finish again. Said couldn't return for 3 weeks!! Had to hire GH's competitor to finish job, which they did next day in 2 hours. Suggestion: Do not pay anything until job is done or you may be waiting weeks.

Presley was wonderful! I work at a property management company and they really came through by fitting us in for a same day hauling when tenants moved out . We greatly appreciated their ability to do online invoicing. They were accommodating and professional, and I would definitely work with them again.

We needed a large dumpster quickly and our local garbage company was over a week out and expensive for how big of a dumpster we needed. I called/texted Green Hauling and Presley was great. Super helpful and accommodating. They even delivered the empty dumpster on Thanksgiving morning! Highly recommend!

Doing the Marie Kondo clean-up at our home and trying to clear out some of the stuff crowding our place (and our psyches!). Wonderful experience--completed in less than 2 hours. Presley was great: professional, efficient, responsive and friendly. Would use again in a minute and will definitely be referring them. I also like the fact that they recycle as much as they can (my carbon footprint is already large enough as it is!). Thanks again to Presley and Frank!

There is a reason these guys have almost a hundred 5-Star reviews. Great service, and they utilize technology effectively - you can call, text or email them - they respond quickly - and they work with you to get you what you need.
I ordered a debris box. I am a homeowner. My deadlines were tight because I was moving in 10 days (everybody moves in Spring time) and needed a box for a week. Recology - our main garbage people, could not accommodate because their time-frames were too tight for the size of box we needed. Green Hauling worked out fine. Just had a great experience with Presley. Gave me a cost range over the phone and stayed within it. Very patient with our details and directions to our house. He also stayed in touch to keep us updated on timing. So great to work with the person who gives you the ballpark as well. Neat appearance, well organized and strong/hard working. Easy 5 stars.
Bonus to find a group that helps try to find extended use for still useful things. Had a tough time with Salvation Army and Goodwill even scheduling a drop let alone a pick up. Green Hauling came in the scheduled time and was worth the cost. Thanks

Called on a Friday afternoon and was able to schedule a Saturday morning appointment. Presley was very accommodating and efficient. Prices were better than the "National" brands out there. They recycle as much as possible rather than tossing it all at the dump. Saw that they also were volunteering at the National Parks to help clean up due to the Gov't Shutdown last week, way to go!!!! I'll be calling them back to clean out the junk in my garage for this years Spring Cleaning!!!

Kevin was very accommodating when helping me assess my needs even as I kept waffling between dumpster sizes. Over the course of a week before the dumpster was delivered, the piles of junk at a house clean out changed dramatically as some items were given away on Nextdoor and as I kept finding more and more junk to get rid of along with the last minute decision to tear down an old falling apart shed. (You would think the shed would have been first on the "chuck it" list, right? But you get acclimated to seeing things in the landscape of your home that you don't even realize how inconvenient

There are serious issues with this company. I did 4 debris boxes with them, and with every single box, there was some kind of problem. They didn't drop off when they said they would. They didn't pick up when we scheduled together. They dropped the wrong box. They don't have a license to put boxes in the street in San Francisco, and they didn't seem to know they needed one: they got a $1200 ticket which they tried -- illegally, according to the city -- to dump on me. They sent heavy boxes (for concrete, brick, and earth), but then each time claimed it wasn't a heavy box

I just finished building my house, and after four years there was a lot of construction debris, mainly wood.
Kevin at GH arranged for Josh and Jeffrey to come out and load it up in their 20 yd. debris box, and take it to the recycling center in San Rafael.
It all took about 2.5 hrs., but there was so much to be hauled away, I had them come out the next day and take another 10 yds. to finish the job.
They were on time, and worked hard, and separated out some odds and ends I wanted to save.
The price was reasonable, and it was almost the same as renting a debris box and loading it up myself.

Ok start with the good. Very responsive. I called to order a pick up and gave a phone estimate of what needed to be picked up. They show up within a four hour window. Very friend guys.
The drawback and reason for the lower rating. They claimed I had half a load worth of stuff 7 cubic yards. But it was a guess. No real before or after measurement so there was no real way to tell or dispute. The truck was not empty when they started. I paid which was simple enough, but I felt they were getting over on me. I've rented dumpsters plenty of times but I needed a service this time. It was more expensive
