Carousel Child Care Center

People can have their opinions but Carousel has been the best daycare I have ever used. Both of my kids love going there. They actually care about all of their kids, they make sure tummy’s are full, they send a daily report of my toddlers schedule. During outside time you will always see the teachers out there engaging with the groups of children. We’ve been to quite a few daycare facilities and in-home daycare so this isn’t my first rodeo. I wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else.

I love this daycare. My youngest kiddo had a hard transition in time daycare and the staff cared for her every day that she cried and was anxious. They send pictures so I know my little one is happy and healthy and the staff truly love her. The front desk staff make sure they know the kids and say hello every morning. This place has been a Godsend for our family and we'd be lost without them! I only wish I knew about this place when my oldest kids were daycare age.

Both my Son attend the child care. They are on top of everything that happens and let us know right away if something seems out of place. The teachers are very easy to talk to and friendly. The environment is clean,comfortable and laid back. The Pricing is fair. My sons love to go there every day and if they are happy so am I.

Gingerbread which was a sister company to Carousel was my first job and I LOVED it there. I worked there for 2 years and then came to work for Carousel when I moved back to Alaska. I have been working for Carousel for almost 2 years now and i LOVE it there. The owner Ms. Terri is an AWESOME boss to have. She is a kind loving person who is always willing to help those in need and ALWAYS puts her staffs and centers needs above hers. I have personally made a bond with her and the family and have no complaints. I enjoy working for Carousel.

My daughter always has a great time when she visits Carousel. The staff is friendly and focuses on learning skills as well as fun. I know a lot of the management personally and trust them fully to take excellent care of my child.

I have two kids who either attend or have attended here. When my daughter started preschool they were able to work around her school schedule with bussing and drop offs. My son is still attending and enjoys both the teachers very much. I have gone through 2 different childcare centers before this one and I love how I can communicate very well with the office staff and I get updates as to how my child was during the day. It makes it easier on me when I am talking to them about their days.

Carousel Child Care is the ONLY child care I will EVER use or recommend. I've been using them since I arrived to Anchorage about 7 months ago. They care for my 3&6 year old. My children absolutely LOVE their daycare and look forward to attending daily. I have complete trust in this daycare. My children come from special circumstances and I wouldn't just trust my kids with anyone. I know without a doubt that when I drop them off in the morning that they are extremely well taken care of and above all... loved. The entire staff is incredible and we love them all dearly. Carousel is a place that we have been taking our kids to for years. The staff is wonderful and great with children. We had to add another child to our daycare needs and they opened their doors. Thank you Carousel and staff keep up the hard work and teaching our little ones.

I will start by saying that I am fortunate enough to be able to stay home with my son and not have to put him in daycare. But the few times I have left my son it has been with the owners and I have never once felt he wasn't getting the best care. All the staff is CPR and First Aid certified and has gone through training with members of the fire department on emergency situations. But I can say I'm close friends with the owner of Carousel and these comments make me sick. Let me tell you I have seen the behind the scenes and been around for the conversations and they truly have the kids best interest

My children are everything to me and I want the world for them. My oldest son is now in Kindergarten and because of Carousel and their staff he was able to write his name and have many of the basic skills needed for Kindergarten. Carousel staff worked with my youngest son to potty train him. He loves going into his classroom each day and being with his friends. When picking a child care facility I needed something close to my home with extended hours and reasonable pricing. I feel that we made the best choice with Carousel.
