Pro Tip from Melissa: Great for shorter styles to add volume but also works well for long hair. The argan oil is amazing for smoothing and controlling frizz. I booked a balayage appointment with Maggie yesterday, 10/26, and loved every second of it! It was my first time visiting this salon, and Maggie did an excellent job. I truly have never felt more beautiful and was looking at myself in every mirror on my way to check out! Maggie is very friendly, and truly cares about her clients. She exceeded my expectations ten-fold, and I am definitely only going to go to Avalanche from now on for my hair services! 11/10 would recommend!

As a former stylist myself, I am always iffy to try new places. A few girls I work with at my office we’re raving about Mel, and I had been desperate for a haircut. I took my chances and scheduled an appointment with Mel, and am so glad I did! I wanted a funky pixie/bob with an undercut and at the last minute asked to add a toner (with the expectation that she wouldn’t have time). She chatted with me about the color and then mixed up and applied the perfect tone. Fast forward to my cut. I've been a client at Avalanche Salon for about a year now and I absolutely love the salon!! Dani is a pro with highlights and bayalage. I have a LOT of thick, coarse hair. She's always been great with cutting and styling as well. With all of the changes due to COVID, I have been in the salon a few times already and believe they're doing a great job keeping the salon clean and everyone safe.

I switched around salons for about 2 years before I came here. Alea has been the first stylist that I have been able to show a picture to, and she did exactly that. Every time I show her a new picture, she is able to achieve the look I want every time! I used to hate getting my hair colored or cut, but my experiences here have made me LOVE coming to get my hair done! I HIGHLY recommend scheduling an appointment at this salon if you haven't! :D

The staff is very friendly and professional. But inexperienced when it comes to haircut and coloring.
I went in for a balayage and highlight mix. I was advised to get the haircolor i want it will take a few tries. I totally understood... what I dont understand how the back half of my head had a row atleast 2 inch in width(noticed at home) has nooo color, highlights nothing ...
I asked for layers... i even showed her a picture before and then again after she was cutting to let her know this is the shape and form im looking for however close it can be... after the initial cut she said she would

I have only been coming here for six months and have since brought my daughters. We all get cut and colored (ranging from balayage to highlights to full color) and each see different stylists. The atmosphere is relaxing and the vibe is upbeat. Prices are very reasonable. The hair washing chairs that don't hurt your neck are amazing! I originally started coming here because of convenience because I work nearby and was honestly sad to leave my former salon, but I would strongly recommend this salon to anyone.

So I had the absolute best experience ever with Miranda! She was awesome she looked at what I wanted and was able to make sure we could do something similar. She listened and just was hands down one of the best hairdressers I’ve had in a long time. My cut is fantastic and she gave my hair body without losing too much of the length. I went from blonde to vibrant red and it looks amazing. She also encouraged me to get the no fade shampoo so that I can keep my look longer! Will absolutely be coming back here and make sure my friends know about this as well. The salon was clean and had great vibes

I have come here a few times for a cut and color and the stylists here definitely have the skill aspect down. I have had appointments with Katelyn and she has been wonderful. However, my last experience with Avalanche Salon & Spa was not a good one to say the least. I had an appointment with Miranda and she was very rude to me. She refused to cut my hair to shoulder length because it would look "weird", and said she would only trim it. However I went to another salon a week after and they cut it exactly how I wanted. I sat in absolute silence the whole time despite many efforts to start a conversation
