Our top priority is to protect the health of our patients and staff. Please refer to our Facebook page and Instagram account for further information and continued updates, and contact our office at 770-634-2349 for scheduling or if you have questions about the tele-therapy process. The Cora Lee Institute is a place of compassion, support, encouragement, and change.

We specialize in individuals of all ages - pediatrics to geriatrics. Our team is well trained in the diagnosis and treatment of many factors influencing mental health. You know when you meet someone and you can tell that he or she is a genuinely good person?. You feel better just being around them.
Services
We focus on proper diagnosis, treatment, and support for children, adolescents, and adults living with these issues. Whether you have a child with developmental delays, learning deficits, or behavioral challenges; or if you are an adult experiencing challenging emotions, requiring evaluation prior to bariatric procedures, or are in the middle of a custody dispute, we can help.
At Cora Lee Institute, we are committed to journey with you toward wellness and healthy living using the most appropriate therapy options for your specific needs. In addition to individual one-on-one time with the doctor or family therapy in our center, the option of telemental health, treatment at a distance, may be provided if deemed effective and functional for the client.
We specialize in the evaluation of your child's academic needs, assist with discussions on school placement decisions, act as an advocate in IEP, 504, and RTI/MTSS team meetings, and work with the school to ensure that your child's educational needs are addressed. Self-advocacy is encouraged and taught as a skill throughout this process.
We are committed to provide each student a safe and supportive environment that promotes self-advocacy, motivation, and excellence in learning as students pursue their educational goals. Our services can be adapted for individual student needs from preschool through college. The best way to prepare for the SAT and ACT is to learn test taking strategies.
Forensic evaluations can be complicated and each one is distinctly unique. Dr. Lightfoot has extensive experience as consultant psychologist in legal matters involving special education law, child abuse and endangerment, immigration/deportation issues, disability and personal injury, parenting capacity, and others.
