We previously used DJ Fence to replace a length of fence which fell over. We were very happy with the quality of work and cost. Recently, we needed quick fence repair work so we could close on our home sale. Lorenzo and his crew did a excellent job for a very reasonable price. We scheduled a free estimate 3 weeks out (the first they had available) and were excited to see what they would say b/c they had such good reviews on Yelp. When the guy came out he said they don't build new decks in Prince William County due to the required county inspections/permits and that the receptionist should have told us that.

First of all they replied to me very quickly from my initial inquiry. They came out within a couple of days and gave me a competitive quote on a job that wasn't very large that most providers probably wouldn't even bother with these days. They did a fantastic job and the guys who came even fixed a couple of spots on my fence that they noticed were falling apart without me asking. I would highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future

DJ Fence is amazing. They were one of the lowest quotes we got and were super professional. They replaced 187 linear feet of fence, built a double and single gate, repositioned all the gate posts, hauled the old fence away, and cleaned up every bit of trash. All in ONE day. The crew was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I will be using them to add our deck this fall. Highly recommended.

Couldn't be happier with the service provided. Called for a relatively small repair job. Had other companies come out to take a look, but most declined to submit a quote. DJ Fence offered to do the job for a very reasonable price, came out 1 business day after I accepted the quote, did an excellent job and had everything wrapped up in a few short hours. Will definitely call them first for any future fence-related needs.

Lorenzo came out at the appointed time to look over our property and sent his estimate two days later. He patiently worked with us as we revised what we wanted until we were satisfied that it would meet our needs. We decided on board-on-board back yard fences, solid front fences (all fences of pressure-treated pine), and cedar gates, to reduce the weight of our two wide double gates. His price was competitive. The actual installation was delayed by February weather, but Lorenzo kept us informed as the dates changed. Sergio led the fence crew. He was careful to ask about anything he wasn’t sure

We must update this review because subsequent to the stellar review we gave Lorenzo for installing a short section of fence, we hired him to do another job that did not end well. I do want to first update the first review. Lorenzo was hired to replace a 30 year old section of fence around a pool. They installed the fence not to Fairfax County standards and never told me in the ensuing 30 years there were standards taht we had to do. Of course and without reservation we would have said absolutely to do it the way the country required had we known. The only way we knew this was the case is we hired

Our existing backyard fence was falling down and broken. We called DJ Fence about a replacement and they were out within a couple of days to give me a detailed quote, which was very reasonable and in line with other quotes we received. The sales agent I worked with, Jason, was really helpful and kept in close contact with me regarding anticipated timeline. I am only giving 2 stars because they scheduled estimate, came out and did measurements, and sent estimate as promised. In all other respects, I do not recommend.
1. They will not do any permitted decks in Fairfax County. (I respect that they at least were honest and upfront about this).
2. While the estimator was here, I was having a conversation with him about deck design and after about 10 minutes, I told him I wanted my husband to come outside and discuss the plan and number of steps and I was curtly told "I don't have all day, I have a lot of estimates" and he left.
So if

We had a tree fall on our property and our neighbors' over thanksgiving and smashed the old fence. DJ fence was referred to me by my primary GC as being very good and they exceeded all expectations. They did the fence for both properties in a properly scheduled, expedited way. The fence install itself was very robust and there seems no compromise on materials and hardware. Lorenzo accommodated my specific requests to hide the ugliness of the AC unit

I can't say enough positive things about DJ Fence. The entire team was incredible. The business owner visited the house twice to speak with us about our custom design idea. He also paid very close attention to where our property line was and advised us on the ideal location of the fence. My first thought was "just put it where the old one was," but Lorenzo politely informed us that the old fence was actually across the property line by several inches. So, a future neighbor could have just ripped out the fence and we'd have no recourse. So, that was great input.
