Studied dance at the Ellen Ann Jones School of Dance for ten years before going to the University of Illinois where she continued her dance education while earning a Marketing degree. Amy has been heavily involved in musical theater, having served as a performer and/or choreographer for over 60 shows, including leading roles in Hello Dolly, Gypsy, Little Shop of Horrors, Guys and Dolls, 42nd Street, Crazy for You and many more.
Amy's dance training began at age 4 dancing at the Ellen Ann Jones School of Dance in Cary. In high school, Amy was a four-year member of the swing choir and pom squad and was Miss Cary 1989. In addition to performing in her high school musicals, she started her career as a choreographer. In college, Amy studied ballet, tap, jazz, modern and voice while majoring in marketing.

My oldest started classes literally days after we moved to Cary. Right away I was impressed with their professionalism while still maintaining a fun environment for kids. A few years later, I began to take adult tap lessons and they were the highlight of my week! Cgpac has been in business for over 20 years and I think the performing arts at the high school have them to thank for training these amazing students who go to put on award winning performances. We have been students at cgpac for 5 years now and we will continue as long as we are living here.

Cary Grove performing arts Center is our second home. And I mean home. There is so much love, care and respect for each person that walks through their doors. It is a safe haven for my children to go and grow. I highly recommend learning at this studio.

My son and 2 daughters have learned not only how to dance and sing, bringing joy to others and themselves, but the history behind music, a strong work ethic (through team performances and paid employment at the store) and connections with now lifelong friends of all backgrounds and perspectives. My son decided to “go for” swing choir when he was a HS football player and quite a few followed in his footsteps. The life lessons and skills he learned have served him well in his professional corporate career today.

My daughter absolutely loves her dance class (and her teacher Miss Becky) at Cary-Grove Performing Arts Center. The emphasis is always on doing your best to participate in each and every class and rehearsal and to contribute as a member of something greater than yourself. You see passion and dedication in every single person connected to CGPA. I look forward to seeing my little dancer grow at Cary-Grove Performing Arts Center for years to come!

My children found a home at CGPAC and we've been with them for over 6 years. They not only learn *to* dance (not *a* dance...there's a difference) they learn respect, perseverance, the benefits of hard work and how to express themselves through the art of dance. Knowing the studio has been successfully owned and operated for 20 years by two women with strong roots in the community is powerful. The instructors are fantastic and show that they want the best for every dancer. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough nice things about CGPAC. My daughter has been dancing there for two years now, and will be returning for a third. We definitely see ourselves as a long term CGPAC family. The recitals are a joy to watch, seeing the dancers grow each year not only as performers, but as kids who've learned about hard work and giving back to their community. My daughter has had tremendous growth thanks to Miss Robin, and we know CGPAC will not only give her a great dance education, but teach her about commitment, teamwork, and confidence. We LOVE CGPAC!
